Woodbury 10 Theatre is a local cinema in Woodbury, Minnesota, known for its reasonable ticket and concession prices. It offers a variety of movies and has been a go-to place for many locals. However, recent reviews suggest that the theatre may need to focus on improving its customer service and facilities.

We have been going to this theatre for years but when we went on Saturday, January 2, 2016, we had such poor customer service that I took the time to complain on their "contact" tab on their website. Got a response today that I find to be totally flippant and disrespectful. They should be ashamed! We will not be returning, thats for sure! HERES MY E-MAIL WITH THEIR RESPONSE: MY EMAIL: Took our family to a movie this morning. 11am matinee. Got there at 10:20. Your sign said you open 15 minutes before 1st show. Didnt it used to be 30 minutes? THEIR RESPONSE: No. MY EMAIL: Anyway, 1st show was at 10:40am so the ticket office and doors should have opened at 10:25. It was more like 10:35 THEIR RESPONSE: According to the sales logs, the first sale was wrung up at 10:30:29am - so this is incorrect. Your watch must be fast. MY NOTE: I USED MY CELL PHONE FOR THE TIME AND SO DID OTHERS AROUND ME. WE WERE ALL COMMENTING HOW THEY WERE 10 MINUTES LATE SO DONT KNOW WHO THIS TIMESTAMP CAN SAY THIS TIME... MY EMAIL: and a whole lot of people lined up waiting for ticket window to open, being told by an employee (plus 2 large signs posted) it opens 15 minutes before first show yet it was well past that. THEIR RESPONSE: It is New Years weekend. Of course there was going to be a long line. MY EMAIL: Finally it opens 10 minutes late then we go to get popcorn and the 2 employees at the concession stand were so lethargic and disinterested acting it really was a poor reflection on the entire facility especially after the mess of even getting into the building. People in front of us in line told everyone it is always that way. I find it hard to believe you would like to maintain a reputation like that. I HIGHLY recommend you look into this and kick start the New Year by training your employees to be more professional and to stick to your own theaters rules. Not a good experience today. THEIR RESPONSE: Ill discipline the employees.

I have been going to this theatre for many many years and until recently. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. Cheap prices, but RUDE and PATRONIZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I dont know what happened, but they have gone downhill. First, the balding Middle Aged man who yells at you when you order. He makes no eye contact and is extremely rude. He yells at everyone too! A lady and I couldnt find the salt and she turned to him and asked where the salt was and he just yells, "The salt is there in the red container!" Hes only like 4 feet away and hes just yelling. She responded, "There is no red container." He said, "Yes there is." I just walked away at that point. There was no red container....Then when we were in the theater they sent basically a bouncer in to yell at everyone at the beginning of the movie just to warn everyone to stay off their phones, he said I dont care how many times youve read the book nobody wants to hear you talk, and continued to patronize everyone like we were children. I didnt like being threatened and nobody had even done anything. Heres the grand finale, my friend emails their customer service to tell them theyre going to lose business if they run their business this way. She asked to not be emailed back which they emailed back. The person who responded was rude and said, "This does not help me unless you can identify the guy behind the counter." What kind of customer service is this? Help them? Thats not why you email them they owe you an apology for subjecting people to their aggressive and rude undesirable service that is insulting and disrespectful to everyone!

I have to say I am a frequent customer of the Woodbury 10, and why normally I would give them five stars on the entire experience start to finish. This last time I went was anything but five star. I was manhandled by the so called ticket reciver. Simply for not seeing the sign about no outside food or beverages. Once I removed the pop from my pocket, this very large male employee grabbed my scarf and coat and began poking me aggressively in the stomach. Saying what else is in there. While I had nothing else on me, I took my keys from my pocket and said all I have are my keys and phone. I was so uncomfortable with the way this employee was treating me I decided I wanted my money back and would rather go some where else. This is a movie theater, not a bar! Women or anyone for that matter shouldnt have to be grabbed up for bringing in pop. That I surrendered. Just to see a movie. Needless to say, I will never go back. Ill pay the $5 to go to a theater that has more respect for there patrons.

Seeing movies here is always a delightful time, no matter which screen I see it and which movie. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Ive seen quite a few movies there. I love that theres such a good variety of movies to choose from. Sometimes, it can be a little hard to pick just one movie, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Its not too crowded. I can find a seat and walk my way through pretty easy. The people are friendly and cool. One way or another, they get me to my destination in a reasonable time without backing up the line. The popcorn tastes good every time. I dont eat popcorn every time, but its a treat when I do. Everything else about the theater is delightful. I look forward to more movies there in the future.

We like to support our City businesses and we find that our Woodbury theatre provides great value. It is also promoting the local businesses and restaurants which is also important for the City. But a word of caution to the theather business owners. I went to the American Burger Emporium (ABE) following their theather ad suggesting ABE would reduce $1.00 on your purchase when you present your theather stub. Well the Burger Emporium did not, the cashier started dancing and making excuses about the only items the discount applies blah...blah....ABE must be very carefull with their business practices and Woodbury theathers should monitor their marketing partnerships too. There are too many competing restaurants in Woodbury, watch out.

This theatre was my go-to theatre of all time due to its reasonable prices for tickets and concessions. Ive never had any trouble with any staff or movie screening and have even looked past the boxes stored at the front of theatres, etc. Kind of disappointed with my experience today. Dont ever lose or accidentally drop your wallet because they will not let you reenter to find it and they will not send an employee in to search for it. The employee was really unwilling to work with us. He was rude and loud which made a big scene. We are not the type of people to make a big scene or fuss about anything but losing a wallet can be scary. I have never been treated like that before. Dont support this theatre.

Ill start with the positive. The popcorn is the best in the woodbury oakdale movie area. The concession prices are cheapest. The tickets are priced similar to Carmike in Oakdale (fair pricing during weekdays). Seats are getting too dirty and old. The screens need to be updated. If you want a cheap movie this is the place. Look out for really obnoxious teens; they tend to come here often. Handicap doors dont work. Most times, you have to purchase your tickets at the concession and the ticket kiosk is closed, and you never really know why. Not enough handicap seating options. The seating here is flat, so if a tall person sits in front of you, there head is your movie.
