Screaming Bag MAN

As an avid google user, one who uses reviews to make every life decision i decided to make one for my favorite theater. This theater has many good screens. and snacks. cashier had friendly smile. maybe we can be friends. maybe well go to a park on a picnic. but probably not. she works at a theater... movie i saw was a feature length film. film making was mediocre... at best. theater provided full experience. lighting in lobby was pleasant. they had games for pre-movie entertainment. popcorn was salty.... and buttery. just like i like it. floors seemed clean and not sticky like those jizzed on floors at other theaters. over all its the best movie going experience i have ever had. best 4 dollars i ever spent, however i havent been there since i moved to a monastery in Tibet to escape from a gang of hoodlums that my testimony sent members of, to the big house and i needed to really just yah know, find some zen in my life but now i live in Hong Kong... anyway i kinda lost my train of thought. point is, best theater EVER! ps if the staff of this theater happens see this, just know, even though i havent been in lately, i still love you.

Ive lived in Forest Lake for years and finally stopped in to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes last week. The staff was upbeat and they accepted my coupon from the blu-ray I had purchased with no problem. I purchased some snacks for around $7. The theatre was clean and near empty with the exception of a few well behaved teenagers. Picture and sound was excellent and it wasnt crushingly loud as some others I have been to. Ill be stopping back in the future.

We rented out two of the theaters here for an event I coordinated at the school where I worked. Coordinating with the management was great, very flexible and clear on what options we had. I understand that they rent out theaters regularly for various private events (so theyre supposed to be good at it), but I was just so pleased and appreciative of the interaction. In fact, I understand that the school is planning another event and renting space again!

We went the the movie It. There were unsupervised kids that were loud and obnoxious an my son and I ended up with a bag of popcorn on our heads from three rows behind us. If kids are in a rated R movie they should be supervised by an adult. It was very unenjoyable and you couldnt relax and enjoy the movie at all. Forest lake 5, you need to change your policy on unsupervised movie viewing. I wouldnt recommend going there to my friends or family.

Got locked out and was not let in because i was a full 8 minutes late for a movie, i knocked and she just sat there and ignored me so im like "wha" then i called my friend and he asked her and she was like nah. (Note if you work tell 730 and get to a movie 8 minutes late you will not get in) however the popcorn is better than most companies in the area.

I only go there if Im by myself and its last min it reminds of what a dollar theater feels like its super uncomfortable the seats are so close together but they still charge normal ticket prices I seriously drive 30 mins away to goto a different theater than right down the street to this one I dont recommend it at all

Needs a remodel. This place looks like it was made in the seventies. I expected it to smell like cigarette smoke, it didnt. Everything else was fine. There were a couple kids working and they were goofing off, but that is to be expected and happens everywhere. The seats were fine, it wasnt crowded at all.

The Forest Lake Theater is fine. Its old and needs a remodel, the seats have been updated over the past few years so they are not completely uncomfortable. Sound is fine. overall, the experience is better than driving 15 minutes to the next closest theater, sometimes anyway.

I was really hoping that in the 20 years since the last time Id been they would have added stadium seating or recliners. But the film didnt start on fire like last time and they clean the theater with a leaf blower, so it has that going for it.

my family and I go there often. Small, intimate, great prices, friendly staff, close to those who live in/near Forest Lake. Its a great small-town theater with a small-town feel. I hope they never change and never go away.

Ive had nothing but good times here! My son and I go here so we can see movies in a friendly low key environment. Its close to home and the staff is much more personable than you see in a lot of the larger movie theaters.

This week is spring break for Forest Lake kids, so why not have a good kids movie? ( I dont call Sponge Bob a good kids movie). I like the theatre-friendly staff, close by and not crazy busy when I bring the grandkids.

I have been here with my wife many times. Very nice place, its small but still feels like the right size for a town like Forest Lake, friendly people and you get to choose your popcorn toppings. I would recommend it

It plays good movies, has good snacks, and good prices. It is the triple threat of theaters. Any review less then five stars is being picky. If you want to nitpick go pay twice as much at a different theater.

The Thursday night free movie showing is awesome. The price is always fair regardless. Whoever goes to the free nights should buy candy/pop to keep them encouraged to keep doing it!!!

Nice older theater. Tickets prices and theater seems a few decades old. Popcorn great. Only real downside is Ive never like having the aisle in the middle of the seats

Its a nice little theater. Well kept by staff and ownership, free horro movies on Thursday nights, and great popcorn. Prices are very reasonable as far as theaters go.
