this is a great place to go, bowl and enjoy live music. Many local bands show off their talents here, as well as national acts. The food is comfort food, lots of it and in the frugal gourmet range as well. This local bowl and eatery also has plenty of games for those who love the old school arcade style gaming! its Kitschy and you can dress down, relax and de-stress with your friends. One last big thing, Memory Lanes puts on the Memory Lanes Memorial Day weekend in honor of our brave Vets who serve our country, in fact Memory Lanes has been doing this for awhile so you can be assured that they know what they are doing. Staff is always polite and knowledgeable as well as quick with your orders, drinks and food. . . and the bowling is fun too!

Are any of the reviewers serious bowlers? I doubt it. Memory Lanes is one of the driest, most inconsistent bowling alleys that Ive ever been to. Forget your equipment. I am a light stroker, a traditional style bowler with a stractch average. I switched to a urethane house bowl to kill my hook to deal with the lane conditions and I was still hooking 10-15 boards around 16 mph. Maybe Im never here at the right time but it never seems like theres fresh oil on those lanes. If what you want is a bowling alley with drinks and food, then youll be fine with it. If, however, you want to score well or work on your technique, Id say pass it up.

Staff was terrible. On a pretty light night (many open lanes), they cut us off halfway through our third game, claiming we didnt pay for four people even though we explicitly stated we had a fourth person coming. I debated it with him and eventually just asked how much it would cost to finish the game we were on, and he wanted to charge us $30 to finish the game. No way. Ill never go here again. Total disappointment. There are much better bowling alleys further out from the cities worth going to over this place. Not recommended.

Ive been a patron for years. This is the neighborhood gem of bowling alleys. Memory Lanes perfectly balances bowling for amateurs & serious bowlers. Its a good place to take your visiting friends, watch a sports game, host events, or join a league. Food & atmosphere are good, and service is excellent. What keeps me coming back are the diversity of people. This is Minneapolis.

Ive never been so close to quitting and walking out of a game of bowling. The number and frequency of technical errors that ground our enjoyment to a halt were totally unacceptable, especially considering the steep prices charged. At least the music was decent, saving them a star. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

They have student unlimited bowling at night for $7, which is awesome! The drinks are kinda pricey ($5-8 each) unless youre drinking crap beer. The waitresses are always super nice, but the people at the bowling counter are always surly. All in all, nice place to go with friends!

Me and a few friends have been here a few times for their unlimited bowling (which starts at 11:30) and it says they close at 2am right? Wrong. They have closed a good hour before that. Every. Single. Time. Why advertise you close at 2am if you have no intention of doing that.

While here for a weekend at the Mall of America- we decided to go bowling. All of the reviews for the closer blowing alleys were terrible. Found this one. Great reviews and they stick to it! Awesome service! Friendly people and nice atmosphere!

One of the best bowling experiences I have ever had. The bowling was fun, the staff was polite and helpful, and it was considerably cheap for one game. The food wasnt as good as I would have liked, but was still tasty and actually very cheap!

dont rely on the info on the website for bowling deals. all deals are subject to change depending on who is working and no reimbursement will be given. besides that, the waiting staff is really nice and accommodating. The bar is nice too.

Its a very nice bowling alley with a nice bar good food live music on the weekends and volleyball and I am certain that they have trivia but otherwise its a good place to go watch the game and have a couple cold ones and bowl a couple Lanes

Food is good and serving size is plentiful, service average, prices for a burger and fries was a bit high, compared to similar burger joints around. French dip could have had something other than just Onion Soup for Au Jus.

Dont plan on doing the unlimited bowling that starts at 1130pm. They never stay open until 2am as advertised. The last two Saturdays that I have been here they turn the lights on and close at 1am. Waste of money.

In addition to great lanes & comfy shoes Memory Lanes has live music frequently. The bands dont play in a room, but right on the lanes! Bowling to live punk music on Mondays is something truly Wonderful!

Memory Lanes has an above average restaurant for a bowling alley but surprisingly low prices for the actual bowling! This is a great place for students to come de-stress and unwind with some friends.

Fun bowling place to go. They have 30 lanes so you never have to wait that much in ruah hours. Food and servers are really good too. Prices are very reasonable. Great place to hang out with friends.

Fun time bowling but a bit crowded. When I went to eat it was good food but are server was kind of slow. The thing that was the worst was the front desk seemed like they were ticked off and tense.

Consistently terrible service. Ive been bowling in a social league here for 10 seasons and only a handful of times have I gotten good service. Slow, forgotten orders, and uncaring staff.

Its a bowling alley that serves beer, bar food, and live music. The prices are reasonable, the equipment is in good shape, and the staff are friendly. You really cant ask for much more.

The bowling is fine, and live music in the lanes is fun, but dont come thirsty. Their "pint" glasses are 14 oz, and an undersized 60 oz pitcher of craft beer will run you $26.

I love memory lanes. You can bowl, play pool, darts or beach volleyball outside. The food and drinks are pretty darn good also, I recommend the chicken strips...yummy

We went on the weekend for the 21+ crowd and we had a great time. You can pick your music ($1) the drinks were great and cheap and so was the bowling/shoe rental.

Great modern-retro atmosphere. Plenty of bowling lanes, live music, trivia, and music bingo on certain nights. Full bar and kitchen, too. 21+ only after 10:00pm.

Great alley, good food. Pro shop on site - Dave is awesome (bought a ball that ACTUALLY feels right after all my years with previous ball); high recommend.

They really have awesome food for a bowling joint, the chicken strips with the sweet and spicey sauce is so good. And they make their sauces in house.
