Lets start off with the fact that the place is seriously understaffed. If the crickets dont give it away when you walk in maybe the fact that the entire bar/dinning portion is shut down, half lanes were shut down and if you spent money in the game zone and planned on winning any tickets/ prizes you can count that OUT- the machines were not giving tickets and the Prize room, laser room and air ball room all had signs on them reading "See attendant". As if that wasnt sad enough the restrooms were dusty and the toilets had rings around them!!! How hard is to wipe the toilet bowl YUCK!!!! The lady who checked us in for bowling, was also supposed to be the waitress- but because she was so busy another man took our drink and pizza order which was WAY OVER priced as well as we Never got a check up on the food nor refills not Once!! The most displeasing thing was when the lane shut down on us twice, at that point we gave up and decided to ask for a refund on the 2nd game we paid for. Keep in mind when you go here you have to pay $4.95 for shoes and $5.95 per person per game. It was $50 just for 4 of us to bowl 1 of which was 4yrs old when we added on my daughter (they didnt even have shoes to fit but we purchased anyways, shes only 1) They said that was the reason for the malfunction of the lane because we had an "extra" player!!!! Then proceeded to do nothing to accommodate the fact that we didnt get to play our second game, and felt very cheated. I will probably NEVER return here again. I have Never been talk to with such disrespect. The lady who checked us in couldnt give us any answers and when the manager "Paul" came over he was No help as well- basically re saying everything she said and smiling when I said "so basically we just out $50 for bowling" This place is a joke. I feel for whomever owns the place because if I owned a business and my employees were making my customers feel this way I would FIRE them on the spot.

Horrible place. I was honest to God shocked by the horrible service there. We had no trouble when we first got there. Waited in line for about 10 minutes to get a lane for two adults. Played three games and when we were trying to leave is when things went downhill. There was one person setting people up with a lane and checking people out. He hardly looked like he knew what he was doing. So the line was getting completely out of hand. There were 3 people standing behind this counter and 1 kept coming and going but only one person was doing anything. So when we put our bowling balls back I walked to one of the people standing behind the counter and asked to settle the bill and leave. He looked at me like I was an idiot and told me I would have to wait in line. I brushed it off and proceeded to the line and I kid you not waited 45 minutes for this sloth to finally cut the line down to us. The worst part was they hold your card so I had no choice but to wait otherwise I would have just grabbed cash and thrown it at them. While waiting in line I watched multiple groups come up to the counter and ask someone that was just standing around if they could pay the bill. You would think after being asked by multiple people and then sending them to the already ridiculously long line the thought of maybe getting another person on one of the open registers would cross their thick skulls but I guess not... as we were leaving the 40 year old over achiever putting 1 pair of shoes away an hour decided to grace everyone with his services and help with the line.

I have worked in customer service and have never had one complaint because I understand how hard it can be to please every single customer. I have to say honestly that my experience at Bowleros in Blaine was the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. Our party waited an hour and a half for your Mad Platter. We wanted to ask when our food would be ready but there was not a waitress anywhere in sight. When we finally flagged down our waitress she said she would "investigate" what was happening with our order. She never came back to inform us of the problem. 20 minutes later she came back with our food when we were done bowling and were waiting to leave. She said they would cover 1 of our 2 pitchers that we had ordered for 14 dollars each. Our waitress then told us to talk to her manager before we even complained. This is when I got mad. Management was terrible. I walked up to the bar and a girl told the manager I wanted to talk to him and he looked at me and walked away. . I sat for another 5 minutes until the assistant manager came and asked what was wrong. I informed him very calmy what had happened and he walked away. 5 minutes later he said he could take our 20 dollar order off but put the second pitcher back on our tab which is a 6 dollar difference. I said forget it and tried to just pay the bill but the waitress was no where in sight so I had to go find her to pay. Absolutely embarrassing for your new establishment. Again, I have never said a word to a waitress about any bad service because I am so understanding in this area.

Had a great time with the family except for one thing. I was in the arcade area with the nieces and was the last one to drop off my shoes after the rest of the family came over to the arcade and as I dropped off my shoes, one of the staff called me back and said "Please dont leave socks in the shoes" and told me take out a pair of socks left in a pair of shoes that was allegedly worn by a family member (there was 10 of us bowling). I took it out with no complaints, as I knew some of my family members wore sandals. But when I got back to them and asked, every one of them that wore sandals there brought their own socks. So I was basically told to take out some strangers socks from the shoes. Not sure if there are signs around the place advising guests to trash their socks that were bought there after theyre done bowling but would be great if they did so this doesnt happen again. And it would save the staff members from having to touch worn socks and/or making other guests take out socks that might not belong to them. Oh! And avoid lanes 7 and 8 if you can or ask if its been fixed. Lanes kept having mechanical difficulties throughout our games. Kept having to wait until they get someone in the back to fix it.

This is my go-to-place with the kids during the Christmas break (yes, I said it...CHRISTMAS...not winter break). Compared to the old-school bowling alleys I played at when I was a kid (think small, smokey, dirty holes in the wall), this place is like Disney Land. Its large, smells relatively clean, there is tons to do besides bowl, and it doesnt feel like a typical bowling alley at all. Personally, I prefer the old school bowling alleys but not with my kids. This place is perfect for kids and families. My only gripe is that its a bit spendy (for 3 people to bowl for an hour with shoe rentals is about $40) and you get hounded constantly by the wait staff for food and drinks while youre bowling. I know theyre only trying to make a buck, but how many times do I have to say I dont need anything? And being the old school guy that I am, I dont think you need a wait staff at a bowling alley. If I need something, Ill get it myself, but I digress. Long story short, kids love this place and as a parent I have a good time as well. Just be prepared to spend some money.
