Our family went to see Into the Woods on Christmas day. Purchasing our ticket was simple, finding our seats was easy, then we went to the concession stand - the real money maker of the theatre. It is a good thing we got to the theatre 1/2 hour before the movie started because this is how long it took to get through the line. Most people were purchasing pop and popcorn, but the line barely moved. The popcorn popper only ran twice in the time we were standing there so the person filling our order had to go down to the next popcorn popper for popcorn.... The worst run stand ever. I think the worst part is the unhygienic situation. the cashier went from taking money to sticking his hand INTO the popcorn bag to open it..... I dont want his grimy hand inside my popcorn bag. How many people with cold, flu and heaven only knows what else on their hands were now in my popcorn bag. If I worked for the health department there would have been seriously violations! How difficult can it be to set up one person to cashier, one person to pour drinks, one person to scoop popcorn and one person to make specialty items? Instead it was like watching a series of chickens with their heads cut off and customers standing in lines and missing their movies!!! I rarely go to this theater and will make a better choice next time.

I was looking up movie times today, and happened to notice the review feature, so I looked in, just to see what kind of ratings and reviews this theatre got. What I see is alot of people complaining about prices. While I agree that generally speaking, the prices of both tickets and concessions at movies has gotten to be pretty high, I dont think its fair to take shots at this theatre in the revews about them. Its industry wide. As someone pointed out, they at least make the effort to offer half-price matinee showings on everything but opening day. My wife and go to this theatre often, as it is the closest to our home, and have found the experience to be satisfactory almost without exception (and, on the few times there were exceptions, the management was always quick to do what they could to correct the issues, or offer some other type of compensation if they couldnt..)

This AMC theater center doesnt have anything in particular to recommend it compared to say, West End Showplace Icon (which has a bar and reserved seating), or Landmark Edina and Lagoon (which show eclectic foreign and smaller-release films). Its sort of a workmanlike suburban theater. That said, I did enjoy the free refills on our large drink with the serve-yourself fountain machines (especially the iced soda), although I do agree with the other commenters who complain about prices (medium popcorn and large drink: $20). The tickets are cheaper outside of busy times, though; I paid $20 for two tickets I bought online for an early afternoon show.

Tickets are $5.00 all day, Monday through Thursday UNLESS the movie comes out that day (for instance, a Wednesday). My husband and I went to Knight and Day when it came out (on a Wednesday) thinking it would only be $5.00 but it was the regular price of $10.00. But, I have to admit, I think thats fair to charge full price the day a movie comes out. But then again, we probably would have waited a day to see it for half the price :) All in all Ive been very happy with my experience at this theater. And love the $5.00 admission price for a new release!

Great theater in a perfect location, with affordable ticket prices! The freestyle soda machines are helpful when grabbing a refill during a movie, not to mention the endless flavor selections. The staff is amazing and friendly. During one movie experience the restrooms were pretty dirty, however once I notified a staff member, they sent someone right away to clean it. Granted they dont have the reclining seats, however I feel more of a welcoming atmosphere here then any other theater Ive been to....so we always go here.

A very nice movie theater. I typically go to the Coon Rapids one because if their reclining chairs, but if theirs a movie time I like here better Ill go here. The popcorn and other food can be expensive, but if you bring plastic baggies, you can buy a large popcorn and split it amongst who youre with and then refill it. Their Coke Freestyle machine is super cool with dozens of options for pop and mix in flavors. The seats are generally comfortable, and the staff is good at keeping the theater clean.

Like the matinees but Friday gets time changes etc. If you make plans on Thursday be ready to be surprised as movie time might be wrong. Also as a group that did a lot of matinees and a $8 dollar cameo package usually was surprised to see prices increase. So now a movie and no concession! Their loss. We usually take our ticket stub to Malones and 2for 1 for the stub. Plus some food too. I agree prices are high at theaters but how much do they need to make on popcorn etc?

An outdated theater by modern standards. Old-school uncomfortable chairs, no alcohol served, and still priced just as high as all the nicer theaters nearby. Plus be ready to show your ID multiple times for an R-rated movie even if you are in your 30s. Just kind of annoying. The only thing this theater has going for it is location. Near all the shops and lots of food choices.

Best prices at a movie theater ANYWHERE. They recently reverted back to a free rewards program which helps offset the expensive concessions. Seats are not as good as some others, but still worth the trip. Its been around for a while and still looks clean, and well maintained. The staff is polite, and respectful. Overall seems to have good management.

This is my go-to movie theater. Its cheaper than other AMCs and not sure why. Its like 8 bucks normally which is nice if your paying for another person or even if you doing that solo life its a good deal. The concession stand is fine, no issues there. All the theatres are cool, 3D, 2D, IMAX all legit.

This was the best AMC I have ever visited. The reclining chairs and the leg space were so refreshing. They also had waiters serving customers before the movie started. I was highly impressed. It was reasonably priced and I would recommend this location for movie dates

Very nice theater and location. Can be a little warm at times in theater so, they could do a better job with the climate control. But, outside of the temperature in theater, we enjoy the experience. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. Very impressive!

Dont let their website fool you. This theater has no reclining seats and you cannot select your seats in advance. Plus when I called to cancel the tickets after I found this out, they dont reimburse their online convenience fees. Misleading and ridiculous!

Nice theater. Food is very expensive but there is a wide variety to choose from. Location is kinda of hidden but easy to spot if you are in the Arbor Lakes area. Seats are fine but nothing too special. Movie prices are very pricey too.
