I recently got married (on Dec. 3rd) and the wedding reception we held in the big red barn at Strawberry Farms. My wife and I really liked the idea of holding the reception in a barn, and though it was not rustic (as we had originally imagined) it looked outstanding in our wedding photos. And speaking of photos, they take the bride and groom on a golf cart to a nearby lake for scenic pictures which we did at sunset and it made for some amazing photos. Strawberry Farms has two wedding coordinators that work with you and they make planning easy (theyre pros!). They have a list of photographers, DJs, and florists with whom they already have connections. You have to pick two of the three or there is a fee for not using them, but we needed a DJ and a florist recommendation anyway. The DJ from their list, Atmosphere Events, was awesome and Ive already given the DJ great reviews as well. On the inside of the barn we hung Chinese lanterns and it looked awesome. There is a small hanging fee but not much at all really. They worked with us to keep us on budget (and our budget was modest as weddings go). My wife and I have already recommended Strawberry Farms to our engaged friends.

Nice course. Sure you can do better in Orange County price wise, but for those who live in Irvine they provide a nice discount. I like this course because the Par 3s are very approachable, they are shorter than most courses, but very tight. The back nine is very scenic and the entire course is rather tight, meaning alot of OB, but you can score well here if you are straight. The 18th hole is the only hole that I really think is unfair, but over all-- I like the course. The greens are the fairest of any course in OC, true and very fair. Slightly quick. A little expensive for non- Irvine residents, but that is because its right off the 405, near Shady Canyon.

A two star course at a five star price. I flew in from CO and wanted to play. Found this course and gave it a try. I should have left it alone. Visitors, beware as you will be punished for being a non resident. Layout is nice but nothing to be in awe over or to justify the price. There are a lot more things I could have better utilized $175 for. Every hole has massive areas that are GUR. Driving range was in awful shape. With the exception of the cart attendants the staff wasnt that great. For the price...... I would rate this course a joke.

I dont golf much so take my comments into perspective when I say this is my favorite golf course so far. Its super beautiful, the holes are legitimately challenging (not annoying) - I do hate that I lose so many balls there, but best of all its close. You dont feel like you have to drive far away or into expensive neighborhoods like you might for some other fancy clubs. The food at the restaurant is really good too. Ive probably eaten here more than Ive golfed.

The grass is on par with a $50-75 course...but this is $125-$175 (depending on the day)! Sand traps are rock hard, and the pathways on some holes are dirt/bumpy/puddle-filled. I wish the upkeep was better if they want to command that sort of $$. Overall the staff is friendly, the golf carts are decent (and include a ball/club wash), and the surrounds are nice and tranquil.

Recently played Strawberry Farms, had a wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Restaurant has great food with generous portions. The greens had been punched about a week or so before we played, werent bad but had some effect on putting. Other than that the place is a lot of fun to play, so if youre in the Irvine area stop by and tee it up!

We went here for the pumpkin patch and the kids really liked it. There was a lot of people but this place is very big so you dont feel crowed at all. Nice petting zoo with all size of goats and sheep. They have the Traktor ride, itll take you all around the farm, and you pass a pumpkin cannon and get to see the pumpkins fly. Over all great experience.

Over priced and the course was in terrible shape. Fairways were bare and the collar around every green was sparse and uneven. I thought at first it may just be the time of year, but I played a course just a few miles down the road the next day and the conditions were a total opposite.

Came here for lunch and to hit balls at the range. Lunch was delicious but the driving range was very "meh." $10 for 60 balls was a little expensive and even though you get to hit off grass it is not in very good shape. The stall I was at was on a slope which messed with my practice.

price is a good value considering the condition and layout of the course. the back nine followed the straberry farms resoivor and was much more senic. the front nine is very tight and your driver and irons must be on to get a good score.

Played a nice round here the other day and just wanted to give a shout to Strawberry Farms for the few hours I was out there. The twilight rate was reasonable and the front and back were a joy to play. Mike - CrackedMacScreen

A little hidden if you dont know what youre looking for but great place, love their club grill has the most amazing nachos youve ever seen, it is in the middle of a "valley" so it gets pretty hot however definitely worth it!

We enjoy attending Strawberry Farms for events! Having had the luxury of attending more than twice a year at times, we are honored to be a part of their unique group of vendors!

My southwest panini was more like a regular sandwich, but I liked it, anyway. Generous portion. Pleasant setting right next to a driving range.

One of the best courses in Irvine. Back 9 fairways really open up. Friendly staff though a bit pricey for course design and service.

I am an avid golfer, but this golf course is one of my least favorites. Might be the way it sets up to my eye, I really dont know.

Beautiful golf course in Orange County. Some of the holes are a bit tricky but it makes up for it with the incredible scenery.
