Primary complaint: they show nearly 20 minutes of commercials--not movie trailers, *commercials*--before the film. For that alone its worth the money and time to go to a better theater. The audio is frequently just slightly out-of-sync, which is frustrating and distracting. The queue in the lobby is counterintuitive and poorly structured. The employees have to *yell* that theyre available to see the next customer. Its the only theater in a wide radius, so it can afford to be painfully mediocre. But sometimes itd be nice to watch a film in my own town without enduring three replays of the same godawful Chevy advertisement beforehand.

love this theater! I mistakenly left my wallet in the seat and didnt realize it until my friends and I were at the Sec of State. We drove back and were told an employee found it while cleaning up. Unfortunately she had locked it in the office. No one had a key, but they called someone up and she drove back into town to give it to me. How nice is that! I do wish the theater was in Imlay because it is so much closer, but Lapeer NCG is the best. Love their discount Tuesdays. My friends always go if there is a movie we want to see. See you there!

Such a nice movie theater. This place has transformed so much over the years. They have amazing popcorn and just about every drink suggestion you could think of! The atmosphere is so nice along with the employees. Some of their older rooms could stand to be remodeled with the bigger screens & the seats that lean back & have adjustable arm rests like the rest of the rooms, but I am sure that is in their future plans! I have gone to this theater way too many times to count and I just love it.

Went to see Dawn of the planet of apes at 8:40 on the fifteenth . Great movie. The part that teed me off was after paying for popcorn and drink with free refills. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY. They ran out not half way through the movie. What the heck does free refills mean. I think this show should not be trusted. Thank you for ruining my wife and my date night. I will not be back. I heard other people complaining also. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY. NOT FROM ME ANYMORE

The larger screens can be nice. However they have a small screen barely larger than the modern big screens people have in their homes. They sell more tickets than the small screen room can handle to the point where my family of 5 has to sit separately spread throughout the room. The smaller theatre room. An make you leave feeling disappointed at the price of admission with a poor experience. You need to ask or visit only when your feature is playing on their larger rooms.

This place does a pretty good job of keeping their facilities updated and clean. Ive never had a bad experience here. Usually not so busy that you have to arrive super early to get your tickets unless it is the opening weekend. There arent many options nearby so they get most of our business by default but its a lot nicer than most small town theaters.

We go a couple times per month. We try to go early on a Tuesday for cheaper day. The popcorn machine will usually be empty or close to it and we get a ton of kernels rather than good quality popcorn because they dont have fresh popped during lower taffic times. Please dont go cheap on popcorn.

This theater hasnt changed a bit in years. Its pretty great. The films are all very crisp and the surround sound is very good. Since the last time Ive been there they got those coke machines with a zillion options... Overall its a solid theater. NCG normally has their stuff together.

Took my kids to see Boss Baby for Mothers Day. The sound on the movie was so quiet we could hear the people up in the booth talking and could barely understand the words in the movie, although at times the movie would randomly blast ridiculously loud and then go back to almost silent.

The matinee prices are very nice. Its been some time since I have been able to walk into a clean theater that has some great staff members and have been able to watch a movie for $5. The location is also pretty nice. I can walk to the theater from my house.

Ive always loved going here but it seems people these days dont know how to be quiet during a movie. I recommend going a week after the movie has been released. That way it will be less crowded.

Go every week to see a movie if theres ever a problem power outage etc. they always refund your ticket or give you a voucher for another movie very very satisfied
