I am currently at the movies with my wife, two sons and niece. We have spent $49.75 to be here and enjoy a film with the kids. (Despicable Me 3). We purchased 2 large popcorn & 2 large soda along with 3 additional candy items. Upon getting to our seat. My 2 yr old son was holding the large bag of popcorn and spilling it. Not much but I wanted to be courteous and pick up after him. So I did just that. I then went to the ticket counter and asked for a smaller bag to substitute the large bag for the kids. They told me "No" because of an inventory issue they are having. Excuse me but if I spend $50.00 to see a film and buy popcorn I would assume they would accommodate ? The young woman laughed and told me she could give me a bag but it would have to be at full price of another popcorn. That is absolutely ridiculous and highway robbery. We WILL not be coming back to this theatre again. Instead we will go closer to my office "EMagine" where they are not going to sweat over a paper bag. Also, this theatre is disgusting there is food all over the floor and chairs.

The theater seating is excellent. I have a bad bad back and cant set for long periods of time. The wide seats and automated foot rests allowed me to shift from left to center and then right. I never had to get up and go stand in the aisle at the back of the theater like I do at other theaters. I am very thankful for that. The seats also offer cup holders and nicely sized arm rests. My estimate on space between the rows is five feet. So you dont have to put the foot rest down when someone walks in front of you. You also dont have to fold your legs over your neck when people want to pass in front of you. The price for the for the first showing on a Sunday was five clams. Not to shabby. Go see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

Ehh, Its Mediocre. Its a theater that seems to only have the interest in collecting customers money and setting the reel to show a movie. There is nothing at this theater that makes the experience fun or extraordinary. Considering the amount of money that customers pay when they visit a theater, Id expect more! There are much better movie theaters around that provides a more quality movie going experience for the $$, If your willing to drive a few extra miles. I would assume that the reason it has such high rating on google is widely due to the fact that there are no other movie theaters in Monroe. They updated the theater, now they need a lesson in customer satisfaction and service!

4 stars for amazing seats, delicious popcorn (I actually dont LIKE popcorn, but theirs is scrumptious!) and friendly attentive staff and great prices. My *only* complaint is that theres no options for sharing popcorn with children - other theaters provide small cups or bags at no additional charge if you buy a large popcorn. When I bring my daughter and her friends I end up shelling put triple what I would pay elsewhere because the kids cant all share from one bucket. For years I am told a cup would have to be bought at full value, even if Im not buying a drink due to inventory. This is my only complaint and I wish they could find a better solution for people with children.

TOO LOUD! PAINFULLY LOUD! Suggest wearing ear plugs especially for children. Several people tell me they regularly wear ear plugs to be able to enjoy the comfy seats, movies and the theater experience. When asked about volume, employees were very polite and said they cannot adjust the preset volume. Pursuing the issue I receive a phone call, a letter, and 2 free tickets(not my goal) again very polite. At a recent movie, checking the decibel level with a free phone app, it registered 84 -97 most of the movie, higher a few times. Decibel levels of over 85 can cause auditory nerve damage.If you find the volume TOO LOUD for your comfort, Please tell them.

Arrived, girls on the counter were too busy gossiping toke them a while to attend us. When being directed to the movie room the guy up front told us to go the opposite side of the movie theater, directed us to the wrong room which we would have known but the rooms dont have numbers so you know in which one you are in, basically missed the beginning of the movie that I went to go watch because I didnt know I was in the wrong room until that movie started. The lobby area was a mess and the theater smelled bad.

Apparently there is a brand new policy here that age 2 and under is no longer permitted to see movies, even childrens movies. We came to see the minions movie and were turned away because of my 2 year old. There are no signs on the windows, but there is about 16 and under needing adults for R rated movies. We are taking our business to Toledo from now on and we will give Rave our $100+ dollars that we drop on a movie night. We will also be speaking with a lawyer about the discrimination.

We had a great time. Sooo nice to relax in those reclining seats they have there and watch a really good new release movie on that huge screen they put in just a few months ago,we go to there website site and get free popcorn coupons that we can up grade to a medium or large for .50. Or a $1.00 with a purchase of any item at the concession stand,it don t get any better than that. I rate that at least a 10 definitely great

Best theater weve ever gone to. Lots of room, even in the small screen rooms. We didnt feel crammed together like most theaters. concession area is fast, professional. Big screens, big sound, big seats. And you cant beat the price anywhere $5 for any movie till 6pm on any day! Why cant more theaters be like this one?! I will travel the 45min to get to this before I go to my own theater 10 min from home everytime.

Not a 5 Star, just because of the price is the concessions, but knowing that this is the money maker for theaters, I cant complain to loud. This place, used to be our last resort for going to watch movies in a theater, but since the remodeling and upgrades....it has become our first. Good job, everything is very nice and clean. Now I do not need to drive to Southgate, Mi. and watch on MJR. Thank you Phoenix!!!

Best theatre Ive EVER been too. They have great sound systems as well as large screens but the real secret ingredient is their newly installed Super Plush, Comfy, Leather Chairs that are almost FULLY RECLINEABLE, about 170° with a built in Ottoman for your Legs & Feet. Its the most comfortable seating Ive had anywhere. Id pay for two movies just to sleep for 4 to 5 hours in these Chairs!!!

Louder isnt better Went to the Encode theater for the first time to see a movie and was blown away by the large screen. My ear drums were also blown away by the extremely loud audio. I felt like I needed ear plugs at some points in the movie. The sound can be clear without being ear splitting. The seats are awesome. They just need to turn down the audio to a lower level.
