Simply stated, the best movie theater experience in my 41 years on this planet. Starting with the cost. I saw a 5 pm movie for $8. That is equal to theaters in the Toledo area. Just look at the pictures of the seats, they are electric reclining seats that are wide enough even MaMa (from all the jokes) would fit in them! The staff was quite friendly and understanding when I came up a buck short for candy. The carpet surrounds the seating and it was clean! How can they keep it like this? The screen had nothing wrong with it, no holes, no repairs no spots. It was much larger than every other R@VE or @MC theater in the Toledo and surrounding area. The audio was up so loud that I almost needed to cover my ears which was almost too loud. If the theater was crowded Im sure that the volume would have been needed. I will be driving an hour from Toledo just to treat myself once in a while.

I have been attending this Movie House for over 12 years ever since moving to Livonia. It was AMC Laurel Park back then. However, Phoenix Theatres purchased it back in December 2009 and the latest upgrades including the leather reclining seats were done in December 2014. The upgrades are really classy. Seating is more spacious and very comfortable...no more squeezing through tight aisles. The tickets are priced lower than AMC and the guys keep the place clean. The only problem I have with Phoenix is from time to time a movie does not start on time, and they have you wait in a line for up to 30 minutes that stretches out of their doors into the concourse. But they did give my wife and I free movie passes for waiting so long.

Ive never liked Phoenix theater. They need a lot of updates but... My husband and I decided that we would go and save $1 on each ticket, the seats didnt matter that much. We ate dinner and had drinks in the mall. We were about an hour early for the next show we wanted to see. We bought tickets, tried to sit down early but the concierge told us that the previous movie wasnt out yet. We waited an hour in the hallway just outside the theater. We went back in for the concierge to tell us that our movie was cancelled. CANCELLED?!?! then he says "yeah the manager told me right after you guys came in the first time." Will not be going back!

Nice they upgraded the seats to motorized recliners. Buy tickets o line and easy to pick-up. Rates and online fees are higher than emagine. The theatre itself is low quality. No extra large screen as the screens seem small. Seems low quality that pre-meeting announcements are made by a live person instead of a video for a chain theatre. The sound is terribly balanced and are way too loud. Also seems a bit dumpy as it doesnt seem clean. Great that matinee Tix are available until 6. Overall, I would only go if timing and distance were critical. Emagine Novi is way better quality for lower price!

They charged me for two tickets instead of one and I realized this a week later and they refused to refund my ticket until I called them for 20 minutes and still they said they would only give me a free movie ticket only if I came in within the next week. Then I went in store and argued with them and only then did they give me a refund. and not only that but they accidentally charged me for another two tickets and then said they would refund the the extra $30 they charged me so I went home but they still have not refunded it instead now im $30 poorer instead of the extra $10 they charged me.

There was no paper towels in the bathroom and bathrooms were dirty other than that everything else was pretty good I asked one of the workers there for paper towels to be installed and they said they had none and that I can go get napkins from the concession stand if anything I think they should have put the napkins in the bathroom to make it more convenient for the customers dont get me wrong the popcorn was excellent the seating was perfect the movie was nice everything else was comfortable thank you for the good night and I will be back to spite of the incident in the bathroom

Bought tickets 3 days in advance, get there and theres no seats! One of the most popular movies and it was in the smallest theatre! Staff didnt seem to care, didnt apologize, and one girl was rather rude arguing with me about the seats. This was my favorite theatre but now I will not be going back!! I do understand its first come first serve basis, but man there has to be a better system ESP for those who purchased seats way in advance! Extremely disappointed as it was a Mothers Day gift for my mom and we couldnt even see it! I would not recommend this place. ☹️

They oversold the movie theater on New Years Eve and about ten people had to leave after waiting in line about an hour to see the movie. The owner denied it was possible and once he was proven wrong he then blamed other patrons saying someone must have snuck into the theater. Impossible as we all waited in line to get in there. The second it was clean we all stampeded over only to be short about ten seats. Nice theater if you dont go on a holiday or to any movie that might be sold out I guess and never have to interact with the arrogant owner.

They have plush leather loveseats with an optional armrest in the middle and electric reclining. This theatre is hardly ever packed. Especially during the day, its a good place for those with social anxiety. The staff is very friendly and they are accommodating to those with disabilities. I personally use a wheelchair and a service dog and have never had an issue with accessibility. Their prices are wonderful compared to other places like AMC and MJR. They also have working CC devices for those with auditory processing issues or HOH/deaf.

We brought two adults 4 kids, was charged full price for a 1 month old in a carrier.Made the 5:40 pm show, but since the theater was full they could not sit us all together. So we had to wait for the 6:20 show.I was then told by the manager that I had to pay $4.50 more because of the 6:20 matinee price change, mind you I made the 5:40 show but couldnt be seated. You would think that a customer who is spending over $100.00 a your theater would not be charged extra, especially when I made the original show time.NEVER AGAIN! !!!!!!

I was very dissatisfied because I asked for a cup for water and they informed me that they didnt have any free cups left so I asked for a small pop cup to put water in and they said no and that I could go to the drinking fountain which to me doesnt seem very practice while viewing a movie, I should just get up through out the movie and go to the drinking fountain? Ridicules! The manager was no help either just said that they take inventory so they cant give out a cup for water!
