I keep telling all of my friends that this is the worst theater to go to but they dont listen. Every time I go there are teenage kids, 12 and 8 year olds running around, yelling, screaming and making a huge scene. Not even 20 minutes ago my fiancee and I just left from watching The Boy. I advised her like I do every time someone tries to talk me into attending a movie at this theater, that it wouldnt be worth it because there are always kids running the place with zero adherence to the rules. She didnt want to listen so we ended up going, because she always gets what she wants. We sat down and had what sounded like 6-10 year old children throwing coins all over. I held my tongue as they came rolling, bouncing and flying all around us. Did their parents or the management say or do anything? Nope! Not at all. Then as the movie was already 5 minutes underway an ENTIRE group of immature teens piled in a row. All of the girls were on their phones and the boys wouldnt stop talking to each other. They had a pretty successful Chinese Fire Drill, Ill give them that! Because they all got up and moved around to sit next to a different girl at least once or twice. Ill never understand why people let their kids run around and do whatever they want. This was ridiculous and the fourth time this has ever happened at this theater (all of which the exact same thing has happened). The last time I came to this theater was to watch Insidious 2. Teenage girls were screaming at every turn of the camera angle for attention from their boyfriends, feeding off of each other. I was embarrassed for all of them. They ruined the first 10 min of the movie so badly that I ended up leaving with my friends to catch the same movie at the Star AMC theater on the north side. Its a little further of a drive but way worth the hassle of chancing not being able to enjoy 10 minutes, let alone a whole movie. Please, Im begging you, if you want to enjoy a movie and not be bothered by teens with obnoxious manners and pathetic attempts at peacocking just to end up on 16 an pregnant, go to the Star Theater. This place isnt just a dump but definitely not worth the $40 I dropped for the tickets, food and drinks. I, nor any of my friends or family will ever be attending a movie at this teenage hot spot ever again.

A very lovely establishment, well managed, well organized, and well cleansed. My only recommendation, based on some issues that have reoccurred multiple times ( this being written in the hopes a employee reads this), is if they can do routine check ups of the theaters. My specific issue is that in the times I have visited the theaters the movie was disrupted by either people talking through out the film or texting. Yes I did report it but there ways of handling the situation didnt seem efficient. By presenting your self in the theater along the wall you only temporarily stop the individual from doing either, which is a method they use to try and handle these situations but seems unsuccessful in the end. With random check ups as well as being present in the room longer you have a better chance at seeing proof of the individual texting or talking during the movie.

I knew they had recently updated their seats, but I wasnt expected how awesome they would be. I was so comfortable. Im usually freezing in a theatre, but I was warm. The popcorn was really good too. Whoever was the manager on duty was helping another family with whatever issue they were having and she was really nice to them and resolved their issue quickly. Then when people were taking forever to figure out how lines work, she started shouting at them that there were 3 different lines and it would go way quicker if people would just make them... It was hilarious. Seriously, the world needs more managers in the world to tell it like it is to the other people who lack common sense. We will definitely come back. My kid was so happy to go to the theatre for his first movie.

ALL the theaters have reclining leather seats and so much leg room you can fully recline to almost laying down and people can still walk in front or behind your seat without disturbing you. Seats are about the width of a recliner at home so even porkers can sit in them comfortably. The only drawback is theaters often sell out, so get there EXTRA early and Im talking 20-30 minutes earlier to get a seat. For those big big name movies there WILL be a line waiting to get into the theaters so get there even earlier than 20-30 minutes to make sure you have a nice center seating. For Civil war, I showed up about 1 hour before airing, and there was about 20 people waiting in line just AFTER the tickets was sold, just to get into the theater. So plan accordingly.

We - my 98 year old and I - drove from South Haven for the Met Opera HD transmission today. When we got to the Holland 7 we were told the opera wasnt being shown because the theater is undergoing renovation. Another person in line said he had called and wasnt told about the cancellation. Also nothing on the website and I didnt see any sign before we parked. Apparently the same thing had happened for the previous transmission. The cashier wasnt very apologetic and wasnt especially helpful. She said she thought it was also being shown in Grand Haven and in Kalamazoo. We drove to Benton Harbor to see the transmission. In future we will just go to Benton Harbor. I suggest you also find a different venue.

I went to the Holland 7 with my significant other and will not be returning ever again. The movie was great but there were children 12 and under doing the following: throwing pennies, coming in late and being obnoxiously loud, and being an overall nuisance. One child even made a rude comment directed at my date. There is a reason why no adults that I know of will go to the Holland 7 and now I understand why. For parents who would like to drop off their bratty and inconsiderate children, please take them to the Holland 7, theyll have a great time.

This theater has to be the worst theater experience for 50 miles. The theater owner is clearly just taking all the cash and doing nothing for the moviegoer. This theater has poor sound, poor popcorn, it hasnt been refurbished in years, if ever and they run more commercials than a TV show - easily 10 commercials before the trailers even start. If you can see a movie somewhere else, do it.

The concession stand is to close to the ticket sales stand. Great new seats with lots of room. However the very back seats they wont sell until the end because of handicap seating. Only thing is that there not marked handicap. I believe thats being discrimination towards people that arent handicap. I believe in fairness & that isnt fair. But overall great place but a little pricey.

Like most theaters it can be a bit cold in there at times but the seats are really comfortable and recline so far I could easily fall asleep. I only wish it was slightly more stadium seated. The ground in some of the theaters seems almost flat but not so much so that my view of the screen was ever obscured so its not really an issue. Good movie experience and a decent price
