Managers here have no respect for customers! I went here last week with a group of friends and had many issues. To start i didnt expect a night of fun to cost me $50. Everything is expensive and individually priced. Not even an hour after arriving my friends and i were ready to leave but sure to the massive amount of money we just paid we stayed. After several issues with our bowling lane not keeping score correctly and the ball getting stuck and having to wait for an employee to get it we decided to go do play laser tag. When arriving to the games desk we were not greeted but actually ignored, Standing there waiting for the employees to stop talking to each other and take notice. One employee finally came over and handed us a sign in sheet for laser tag not explainimg anything as to times or rules so we waited in line for laser tag after signing in. The employee watched us walk over to the waiting area amd didnt even try to mention how long we would ve waiting or when our game actually went in. From the timer on the wall we saw only 2 minutes remaining in the game. Well as you may have guessed the game ended and about 5 minutes later they opened the door to let the next group in. We were told while trying to enter that our passes were not for that game but actually 2 games later. I then went back to confront the employee about not telling us and of course got attitude back. We then attempted to play a round of glow golf to pass the time bit due to the rain outside it was leaking through the roof amd onto the floor. Managers should have closed that area off due to them keeping the lights off and no one knowing where they might slip but of course they only want the money so they just put trash cans under leaks they found. Need less to say we skipped glow golf and just sat down for 30 minutes to wait for our game. I could go on and on about how awful our time was being here but i feel like i have made my point. Employees and managers are only here for a paycheck and not to make customers happy and enjoy their experience.

Not a good way to kick things off! We were a party of 10 - Most of us with the exception of 3 guests were planning on sticking around the entire night. Bowling, games, laser tag and dinner was the main plan. Upon paying for unlimited bowling we were informed that after one hour of play, should there be a waiting list, we would have to wrap up our game and move so they may cycle through their list. Understandable. Drinks took forever, pushing 30 minutes for a mixed drink and up to 20 minutes for a bucket of beer. Dinner was not much better... almost 30 minutes for food to arrive and most of it incorrect. Keep in mind this place is huge and servicing A LOT of people all at once. We were not to upset on wait times due to the fact we were able to hang out, bowl and visit. Problem is, there was a wait list. After our 10 frames (not an hour) we were told we had to move. There was not a table that would accommodate our large party, we would have to pack everything up AND I was still waiting on my dinner. I approached the front desk to discuss the issue where I was met with the RUDEST young lady I have ever came across in customer service. I asked to speak with the manager seeing as I am getting nowhere with this horrible young lady. Heres where the story takes a turn for the better! The management team is EXCELLENT. Great recovery... Being from a hospitality back ground, all I was expecting was a manager to listen to me, allow us to at least enjoy our dinner before we moved and the young lady behind the desk to be addressed. They exceeded my expectations! With out just masking the issue with freebies, this team stepped up - went above and beyond and really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. This is a stellar management team! We will be back! I am sure managing this type of venue is not the easiest but these guys sure do a great job. THANK YOU!

Arrived around 10:00 AM and purchased wristbands for my grandson and me. I was lucky that there was a early bird discount, so it was less than $30. At the bottom of the receipt was a place for a tip with suggestions of how much a 20%, 18% and 15% tip would be. Really? I seriously doubt these employees are sub-minimum wage workers and I really resent being asked for tip money before I have received any kind of service. This place charges out the wazoo so if management thinks their workers should make more they should pay more. Once the girl at the counter saw I was not adding a tip, she was all attitude. Is this what management hoped to gain by putting tip lines on the receipt? Our interactions with her were limited to paying, getting bowling shoes, returning shoes, and asking her to get a stuck ball out of the gutter...so just doing her job. Its not as if she was acting as a waitress or some other capacity that required a great deal of effort. And OMG she was so put out over the ball in the gutter. For these 3-4 minutes of interaction, I am supposed to tip her more than $5. I dont think so. Maybe if she hadnt been so rude, I might have dropped off a couple of bucks as we left but frankly, this was a major expense but I wanted to treat my gs to some fun before he left for his summer visitation with his dad 1000 miles away. The first thing gs wanted to do was hit the arcade. The prices on the games were outrageous. The toys in the claw games were tightly packed ensuring no one could win one. The claw with the candy did not function. You are forced to buy a swipe card, no option to use real money. Everything about the arcade, pretty much sucked. Everything else was fine.

If I could give it a NEGATIVE Star... My boyfriend, my daughter and I went to Main Event so we could play pool, bowl and do laser tag and have some dinner. We walked in, got in line and we were looking at the pricing board. We get up to the customer service rep and we told her we wanted to play pool first. We were promptly told "You have to go over there" as she rudely pointed to the bar by the pool tables. There were no signs indicating we had to go there to purchase a pool table. So we went to the bar. We stood there for 15 mins, watched waitresses and bartenders and what seemed to be a manager come and go all the while looking at us but never acknowledging us. Not even to say "I will be right with you". NOONE every said anything to us. they talked amongst themselves mostly. The manager looking guy just walked through the bar area, ignoring everything. So we left. Lines were NOT long, it was NOT busy yet, there were 5 pool tables open but no one to give us any kind of service or acknowledgement except the rude lady at that first desk you come to. We wont be back. There are better places in Lubbock to play pool, bowl, eat and play laser tag.
