We walked into this adorable rock/mineral store shortly before closing time. The kids were very excited to pick out a few treasures. Just past 5pm, An extremely rude older woman came out of the office demanding that we leave, and that we were keeping the man at the register past closing time. Could not believe she rushed out three children, who sadly and reluctantly left the store empty handed. :(

My daughter had so much fun! The gentleman in there walked her thru the mining experience. He was very patient and knowledgeable. And reasonably priced! For $8 She was able to spend 20 to 30 mins sifting thru sand for beautiful gems. Thanks for the amazing trip.

What an amazing fieldtrip ! Our kids loved the hands on tour and the rocks they were able to take home. Oh...did I mention they have a dinosaur in the basement. What a cool experience.
