The prices at the theater are very reasonable, minus the always inflated snack bar items. I have never had an issue with cleanliness, despite its somewhat outdated appearance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have had one bad experience there that turned out to make me want to come back. The fire alarm went off during a movie and everyone needed to leave and were able to come back in about 30 minutes later after the fire department took care of a compressor issue. We came back in and the movie was already playing so a good 20 minutes of the movie was lost, not a huge deal. Upon ending, a manager was waiting outside the theater with vouchers for a free movie and was very polite and apologetic. I have been to other movies where is something went wrong, refunds or vouchers felt like they needed to be demanded, but not here. Kudos to them on that. The parking lot is pretty terrible with some pretty significant pot holes. There is a left turn lane with a light out of the lot that takes a really long time to change. Not their fault, just a heads up.

For a family of 6 like ours, Tinseltown has been wonderful. We usually do afternoon matinees with the kids. Its a great value. The critiques of the food prices are a bit funny to me because ALL movie theaters have high-priced concessions, people! These are no higher then anywhere else. There are ways to save on the food through a weekly email coupon or buying a refillable drink cup or popcorn bucket you can use for the whole year. If you buy a regular large drink or popcorn bucket, each of these can be refilled once same day. There was only one time I had a real issue there, and when I contacted them about it, they were quick to respond, even offering comp. tickets for another movie.

The Cinemark Tinseltown makes it possible for my wife and I to go to the movies much more frequently than we would normally. The Cinemark Tinseltown is an affordable, decent theater for a date night or taking kids to an afternoon matinee. The theater does offer a fairly afordable combo popcorn/soda pack and the popcorn refills are FREE. The only "negative" that we have observed is that after a certain time of day the customer "dynamic" changes and there are more police present due to this. We generally try to go to the early bird to avoid the crowds and get the best price.

I am 25 years old and I was not allowed to take my little brother who is 16 to a rated R movie. They said his guardians (our 70 year old grandparents) had to come to the movie. A lady with a walkie talkie followed us around and even threatened to call security. We left and I went to Showplace 16 with no problems. The way we were treated was utterly ridiculous and wrong. She took her job to an entire other level and lost our business. Also the bathrooms were gross, I walked in and gagged. There was pee alllllll over the seats. I will never come here again.

Doesnt anyone notice how they recently changed their pricing? Used to be the first showing of any movie (no matter what time that was) was priced at the super matinee price. Now that price is only offered at movies starting before Noon! They only start a few BAD movies before Noon so what was the point? Why not just drop the whole concept instead of insulting our intelligence by controlling the start times of movies to prevent selling seats for thew bargain price!

Avoid this Cinemark, theres better ones nearby. This theatre is dirty and outdated that there isnt even a Cinemark sign, they must not be proud of it. You can see the poor condition exists when managers like Santos is there. He seems not to have any idea what hes doing, him and the staff do not know basic math as refreshments were rung up wrong and none of them could figure it out while manager just made pathetic comments.

The past few times I have gone here have resulted in disappointed. If you go to watch a Rated R movie they demand to see proof of age from every customer. It becomes a hassle and completely annoying having to show proof of age every time I go. The summer isnt any better, with all the teenagers going it almost always results in a fight outside the theatre. Prices are decent but the overall experience is terrible.

The movie prices are very reasonable, but concessions are limited and pricey. I go for matinees and usually pay under $4. Cinemark rewards has occasional coupons for popcorn, that is if you like stale, oily popcorn. The projection and sound are solid, but watch out for those idiots who sit in the back row and smoke cigarettes because they think thats perfectly OK.

I go to this theater all the time. I especially like going on Sundays for their early bird specials. 3.00 per ticket. Awesome deal. also if you sign up for their emails, you get free stuff like drinks, candy, popcorn. The theater is always clean, and staff has a good attitude. Second favorite movie theater next to Hollywood Palms

Tinseltown has always been clean and safe as a local theatre. The first show is always $3.00 so it is the best bargain around! Even regular prices are good. The food is no more expensive than other theatres Ive seen and no one has to purchase food to see a movie. As long as they keep decent movies there it will be my #1 pick.

The place smells like a dead foot, found in a McDonalds play-place, wrapped in a smelly popcorn oiled rag. I recently watched a movie there and walked away with a head ache from inhaling years of a fetid abused carpet. Horrid smells all over this location. Its like the Wal-Fart of movie theatres.

Great deal for big screen entertainment! Our family has been going to this theatre for the past 20 years. They have great stadium seating in all theatres, and the 1st showing of each day is only $3.25! If you join their Rewards program, youll also get discounts on food and drinks.

Get what you pay for. Yea its cheap, but its sketchy. Worst part is its close to the ghetto so all the hood rats bring their five crying babies. Theres been a shooting, Ive seen syringe needles, and at least one of the screens has a seam going down the middle. But hey, three bucks.

I love this place, because the prices allow you to take your family out or go out on a date without feeling like someone has taken advantage of you. Ive never felt unsafe in the location. Its a clean theater and comfortable with friendly workers, no pretense. Good clean fun
