Aside from similar complaints about unfriendly front staff, I have usually had positive experiences at this pool with my young children until today. My 2.5 year old son fell in the pool, and before I noticed and could get there, a young man lifted him from the pool. Thank God, because the lifeguard who was stationed less than 6 feet from him didnt notice, even when he was lifted from the pool gasping and crying. I realize its my job to supervise my 3 children, which is why I also had another adult with me, but accidents happen, which is a reason we have lifeguards. On top of this scary experience, I waited to call until I got home so that I could calm down. I just called the pool to very kindly voice my concern to the staff, and I was told that "Thats the busiest time of day. We were packed out." No acknowledgement of my concern. I highly doubt I will return here, at least until my children can swim independently, or until the lifeguards watch the pool as diligently as they focus on keeping kids from running.

The ladies at the front (who take the money and give out the wristbands) were so, unnecessarily rude. It was crazy! In the pool area, I heard other guests talking about the rudeness as well and now that Im reading these other reviews, I can see its a habitual problem. This was our first time there and I doubt Ill go back. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, on our visit, the pool was also shut down after the lifeguards break due to contamination. I never heard anything about a rain check. Wouldnt use it if I had though. I will say this, there was a man who works there who we encountered as we were leaving and he was very, very nice.

The pool is small shallow overcrowded and the lifeguards dont seem to like their job. My experience was I got there at 340, pool closed for thunder at 420. Started raining so I went to ask if I could get a pass for another day. I was told the policy was 20 minutes, which is fine I dont mind, it was only 3 dollars. My problem was that after I asked my question the young lady went over to the other 3 lifeguards where they consulted about it for 5 minutes casting looks toward me as though Im being a bother. Note to the employees :: not everyone who used the city pool is a freeloader with bad kids.

Im giving the park 1 star, only because it is reasonably priced and they offer swimming lessons that wont break you. Were it not for those reasons, I wouldnt rate it so high! Although Lynch park pool is well maintained. Its not well managed. A few years ago I was the victim of poor customer service by the Head Life guard/Swim instructor/Cashier. This year and previous ones Ive witnessed the same behavior from the same lady and will not be returning. Other than that the other life guards are pleasant, but again the staff on the front line are desperately in need of training in customer service.

This place is fun to go to with friends and the entrance fee is only 3$ its a great pool for children my only complaint is that there is not a deeper area in the pool it only goes to 4ft at most but like i said it is great for kids to swim and even do its only 4ft its enough to casually swim around in and also there is a waterslide that anyone can go down and the staff is friendly also you are able to order pizza and there are plenty of places to sit or eat and they have good shading areas in the places you sit you can have a good time there .

Promised my boys Id take them swimming. We were only there for 30m, when the pool closed for the day. Apparently, someone used the bathroom and they had to shut it down. I was disappointed and so were my boys, but the rain check made things a little better. The only thing is, I heard that this happens OFTEN, pool closing because of contamination. I also spoke with several people that day and it seems to be a common thing to close the pool after their break. Hmmm something isnt right.

Pros- This is a fun little oasis in the middle of Newnan. Its super clean. Showers and bathrooms available. Slide is fun. Lots of chairs, tables, umbrellas They sell slushies They let you bring your own food and drinks They are liberal in allowing all sorts of pool toys $3 a head to get in. Cons- Pool is small overall and only 4 deep max. Parking is limited and you may have to park at the city park. Cash only! In 2016!?!? Bottom line, its a good cheap neighborhood water romp.

Visited for the first time this week and was very impressed by how clean the facility was and it was well staffed with lifeguards! After reading the review below, I definitely did fall witness to the very rude manager there. And felt bad for the group of people she was Impolitely speaking to. There are more than one way to speak to people, especially when they are innocent. I was also bummed the vending machine they have outsourced dont work properly! So bring your own snacks!!

I visited with my 2 kids (2 & 4) on a Friday afternoon just after school started (early August). The YMCA staff are very friendly, facilities are clean and the pool is perfect for kids and adults alike. The large zero enrty play area is perfect for my youngest and my eldest lived that he could touch bottom almost anywhere in the pool. The slide is an awesome feature that Im sure both my kids will love in the future. Wasnt crowded at all either.

This is a nice community pool. Only $3 per person, not a bad price. Has a splash pad, mushroom, and water slide for kids. Its walk in style pool and repeat park being only 5 ft. Makes it nice for kids. Theuu allow you to bring your own coolers with snacks and drinks just no alcohol or glass.

Very clean and nice facility but the staff is never friendly. Its a little ridiculous that the whistle gets blown any time kids pretty much touch one another meaning piggy back rides in the water or anything. The life guards need to learn how to speak to other peoples children.

I like it because it has the shallow pool area for small kids and the deep for the older kids. But it was extremely over crowded and making the children to stay out for 10 minutes at the top of every hour is weird.

Great pool, well managed and a great price. Much better than any pool we have in Peachtree city!! Too bad the Peachtree City Council is clueless about the needs of the citizens!
