I took my kids there for the Egg hunt this weekend up by the Drees building. It was absolutely horrible. Every kid from Covington, Ft. Wright and God knows where else was there. These kids were taking eggs right out of my kids baskets and knocking them over like they had no sense on how to act. WHERE WERE THESE CHILDREN RAISED? A BARN....I will NEVER take them back there. They were traumatized by the whole event. My oldest son did not understand why children behave that way and I told him because they are raised by people that dont know how to treat them and show them how to behave in a descent manner!!! SHAME ON THOSE PARENTS FOR NOT TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN HOW TO BEHAVE IN PUBLIC AND TO NOT KEEP THEIR HANDS TO THEMSELVES. Ill be damned if I take my kids anywhere in that area again. NO STARS FOR THIS EVENT BUT HAD TO CHOSE TO BE ABLE TO POST MY COMMENT!

Nice view! BUT, do NOT go there any time near dusk. Made the, apparently, unforgivable mistake of thinking we could stop at the park just after dusk. Went to the Drees Pavilion and parked. Literally moments after that some overzealous park manager roars up and shines a spotlight on us like were prison escapees. He says "You need to move your car immediately or it will be towed." Okay. I had no idea the park closed at dusk, my bad. "There are signs". Um, not a single one is lit because we had a hard time even finding the Drees Pavilion. "Theyve been there 40 years". Ive NEVER been up here in my life. If its a huge issue the park needs to invest in a simple gate or maybe a single illuminated sign near the entrance of the park to keep us picture seeking, neer do wells and awful rabble-rousers at bay.

Great place to sit back and relax. With a fantastic view of Cincinnati downtown from the Southwest direction, this is a place to come to enjoy a peaceful time on a weekend. There are benches where you can enjoy a meal with your family. I am not sure about any barbecue or grills since I didnt see any. In addition, there is a childrens play area with swings, slides etc where kids can have a great time. There are benches with shed right beside the childrens play area so that parents can keep a watch on kids. The parking has a good capacity and no charge so that is not a problem. Overall, a great place to spend some quality family time.

This park is great! It is also enormous and has many features that make it appealing to everyone. The best view of the Cincinnati skyline can be had from one end of the park, there is a clubhouse that is frequently rented for weddings, there are playgrounds, an amphitheatre, a golf course, mountain bike and running trails, ball fields, and more. This is one of the areas best public assets and all of it is well maintained.

Nice place to enjoy the outdoors. Offers a shelter that can be reserved, has a play ground for the kids to enjoy, walking and biking trails. The amphitheater is a nice place to attend schedule events or can be reserved for your own event. Several of large open areas for a picnic, relaxation, or enjoy grilling. They have a nice golf course for the golfers and a lake to fish for the fishers.

Last Wednesday my son and I were at the look out point at the park with a photographer taking senior photos. My son looked so handsome in the suit we had got for the occasion when we realized none of us knew how to tie his tie. A Park Ranger by the name of Mears stopped and offered to help! This saved the day for us and I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to Officer Mears!

Quite a unique park and very good stops. Be sure to also visit nearby museums and Park Hills, KY via Audubon Rd. The entire day makes for as close to a Presidio experience to be had in KY. I think it is a notch above Cherokee Park in Louisville. The golf course is also one of KYs most beautiful. You can find out more on my map, Hidden Destinations in KY

Great spot for hiking, there are two main trails, one is through the woods, pretty sure its for mountain biking, and then a paved walking loop. Only problem is finding your way from the woods to the connector trail, no signs or anything and you have to walk on the road for a bit. Great view at the top of the River and into Cincinnati.

Another coveted jewel of Cincinnati! Even though its in Kentucky, it has an unbeatable view of the entire city, with a pavilion and center for hosting events (my rowing club hosted an elegant dinner there recently). Come here for one of three top-notch skyline shots day or night

Ein schöner Park der etwas oberhalb von Covington liegt. Von hier oben hat man eine gute Aussicht auf Cincinnati beziehungsweise Newport

Beautiful! The view of river, the bridge and Cincinnati downtown from the hill is very scenic! We walked around the park for more than an hour. One would expect it to be crowded being so close to the city, but it was quiet and free of crowd at most locations.

I love this park. It is such a beautiful place to go and have a picnic and just walk around. My boyfriend and I had our first date there and we continue to go back because we love it so much. If you like to geocache they have a couple good ones there as well.

I would give this park more stars if I could. Clean, well kept, with both paved and mountain bike paths. I love coming here. there is a golf course and play areas in this large park. Also hiking if you do not mind sharing the trail with mountain bikers.

Wow. This is a confusing park if you have never been there before. Make sure you get the coordinates for where youre going because its a big park with many things to do! Golf, a good view of the city, walking, picnicking, etc.

Family friendly, all sorts of things you can do winter or summer, a place to fish, a great area where you can see Covington and Cincinnati, a backwoods walking trail (if your lucky you could spot a few local deer) an much more.

Beautifully maintained park with a great view of downtown. The band shelter is an awesome feature where they have free concerts during the summer. There are a few hiking/biking trails but they all are a bit disjointed.

The trails here are a lot of fun for mountain biking. There are jumps, berms, streams, downhill, and uphill trails for all levels. Its also a nice place to take your dog and hike.
