A wonderful use of the mostly open-space land that occupies this area. Its well-designed, thoughtfully organized, and beautifully decorated. A small assortment of short trails run throughout, and all of them are unique and worth taking at least once. We live just moments from the Egg Lawn, and we spend at least one afternoon a week together as a family here. My business is now consequently a donor and I feel like its a great place to be philanthropically supporting. Once again, proof that private enterprise can accomplish so much more than the public sector if conditions allow it.

I absolutely love this park!!!! It is os beautiful!!! There are so many hiking and biking trails and the walking/jogging paths are great as well. The playground and sprayground is fantastic!!! There are a bunch of places to have picnics and areas where families can have their own little space. The fishing ponds are a lot fun too. Being able to also walk in the creek and they also have canoe and kayak rentals!!! This park is my daughters favorite she actually calls it "our park" This is one of our favorite places to go!

This park is located at the Parklands, which is an amazing park system in and of itself. Beckley Creek Park is a splash pad connected to a playground. Id say the park features are most suited for kids up to age 10, give or take. That being said, my 9 and 12 year old nephews didnt find it too exciting after a few minutes, but my 8 year old niece did. There are picnic tables with an awning on both sides of the park, making it nice for parents to relax in the shade. As a bonus, Steel City Pops makes a regular appearance.

Ive lived and traveled all over the country and in Western Australia, Spain, Canada, Mexico and Jamaica and have never seen a better park system than this one. Hats off to all the city, county and private entities that came together to pull this one off. If Google had a 10-star option, you all would deserve it. From all the hikers, walkers, bicyclists, nature-lovers, bird-watchers, parents and anyone who just loves to get outside in a safe, clean, wonderful environment...THANK YOU! Well done!

One of my favorite places in the whole world, and I have travelled and lived in many countries and throughout our great nation. I am SO THANKFUL for the vision and effort of the teams who made this park a reality and for the way it is kept up so well. I go for a walk there every Sunday morning, and they have created variety with the various wildflowers, scenery, and topography. Visually interesting, and it changes throughout the year because of the various flowers bloom seasons.

Great addition to the park system. Miles of trails to walk or bike. Most are concrete, but there are some that wind through or alongside the woods & creek or through the wild flowers. Always possible to see wildlife. Several nice fishing lakes that get stocked. Plenty of picnic areas & open mowed fields for sports activities like soccer/football or whatever. Theres a fairly large fenced dog run & a playground for the little ones. Park workers are always friendly, too.

This place is huge! Alot of walking paths, Im the girl though that wants to go hiking not walking on a rock path. I want dirt under my shoes. . If you are looking to hike, this is not the place for you. If you ARE looking to just walk down a nice walking path, take your dog for a walk then yes, all you. This place also offers kayak/canoe drops Floyds Fork creek, it also offers two ponds you can fish at. Playground for kids, dog park, soccer games going on as well.

Beckley Creek Park is easily my favorite Park in the Louisville Metro area. In general the park is not crowded although it is well populated it just never feels like there are too many people which is wonderful. There are plenty of trails and lots of open areas. In general the park is very very clean which can be attributed to the locals who take genuine pride in the park. My wife and I enjoy bringing our kids throughout the year.

Truly an amazing outdoor experience across miles of parks. Favorite trail is the black willow trail (walking, no bikes). Great place for miles of paved walking trails on the Louisville Loop, miles of wooded trails (some bike-able). Great playground and water park for the little ones. A gem in Louisville, check it out and become a park member - its a fully member supported park, no governmental funds!

One of the five parks making up the Parklands of Floyds Knob. Park by the silos (off of Shelbyville Road) and explore this park and the connecting Pope Lick Park by bike. Lots of open fields, pretty little hikes, play ground (by the Nature Center), a dog park, ponds for fishing, and creeks for kayaking/canoeing. For hikers and runners, head straight to the Egg Lawn.

We love going the Beckly Creek Park to walk all the trails. Love that they have bike trails. Even a dog park! Took my grandson to the playground for the 1st time last weekend and its nice that they have play sets for the toddlers and others for the older kids. The splash park is not a bad size either really nice!! This is our favorite park in Louisville.

This section of the 21st Century Parks project has options for everything you might want to do. The splash park and playground are enjoyed by children of all ages, with ample shaded seating for parents to keep an eye on them; there are also trails for cyclists and runners, and fields for whatever your heart may desire.

Grade "A" park with everything you could ever want at a park. Fields for sports, playgrounds, picnic shelters, fishing holes, paths of various surfaces from dirt to concrete to please hikers and casual strollers. The landscaping also varies from natural to artfully designed. Overall, terrific park!

We just visited for a Cub Scout Den Outing. Curtis did an amazing job and worked well with the children. He took us on a guided trail hike as well as giving us some field and classroom education. Everyone including the adult partners learned something new. Would definitely recommend them.

This has to be the best park in Louisville, and possibly the state ( I havent visited them all to say for sure). Rangers are friendly, trails are clean. I taught my daughter to ride her bike at egg lawn, I MTB the trails and we use the splash park often. I love this place, keep it up!

Beckley Creek park along with the other connected parks are some of the best in Kentucky. New construction has really opened up opportunities for hiking, canoeing, fishing and more. Wildlife is always a pleasure to see on the trails. My family loves the parklands of Floyds fork.

Best park in the Louisville / Southern Indiana area. Go hiking, fishing, bike riding, wading in Floyds Fork. Great playground and splash park for the kids. Lots of wide open space to set up a game of flag football. Move nights on a big screen during the summer are a lot of fun.

The playground here is one of the best in the area. Very big and brand new equipment. There is also a short hiking trail that has signs and learning experiences very close to the playground. The kids love it. The splash park is always packed and super fun in the summer!
