This is the only option in town to see new movies and that sucks. Pros: -New movies -Convenient -Nice staff Cons: -More expensive than Macon and Greensboro with less quality. -Dirty screens -Stale popcorn (popped in the back and brought out in a trash bag) -Ive had multiple shirts rip on the seats -Water leaked from the ceiling (only once though) -They make to wait in the concession line just to purchase tickets even though they have a ticket booth (making you have to get to the theater even earlier) -Last time I went (early August) the AC cut off mid movie. -They rarely get American Pie style movies (adult humor) Its worth the drive to go to a better theater to enjoy your experience.

My main complaint with the theater is the lack of variety of movies. With only six screens, they should not take up 2 screens with 1 movie. I miss out on a lot of movies I want to see because a kid movie takes up 2 screens. Kids arent the only ones who go to the movie, you know. That forces me to either find another theater or wait til it it is released on Blu-Ray. I love going to the movie ever since I was a child, but the lack of good movies that I want to see is making my opinion of this theater drop. If it wasnt for the lack of a variety of movies, I would give this theater a 5 star because Ive never had anything but good service any time Ive gone.

This theater is getting better but still has a little ways to go. We almost always have some issues here but less than in previous years. Pros: the staff is always nice and accommodating. Tuesday ticket prices are great. Love the new Coke machines and AMC rewards program. Cons: sticky floors almost every time I visit, broken arms on the seats and sometimes the movie choices are slim. Would be nice if tickets were sold at the box office windows so you dont have to wait in the concession line (which on busy nights has taken 20+ minutes to get through).

Dont bother calling. They almost never answer and Im not even sure if their machine for showtimes works... or if someone just unplugs it. Or maybe someone that works there just uses up the line. This wouldnt be a problem except that the person that posts showtimes to the web is also problematic/nonexistent since web showtimes can be unreliable. I learned this by showing up for a time that wasnt right and was told to "always call" to make sure the times are correct. Exactly.

I wish they were more co ordinated....we went to the 4 o clock Madea, no one at ticket windows, we had to stand in 45 min line w people getting popcorn etc, all we wanted was tickets.. We missed 4 because line was so long, got in on 4:25 movie...it was packed because out of two shows they couldnt get it together.. Thank goodness the movie was good! Tyler Perry rules, but I wonder if he knows how many left because of no management?

Whats with no daytime showings? Milledgeville has large college student (varying schedules) and senior citizen populations who enjoy daytime entertainment. At a minimum, have one weekday a week with daytime shows. Staff courteously answers direct questions but offers no information even when I identified myself as a first time customer. Theater is clean and comfortable.

This movie theater is terrible. Thought when it became an Amc it would really improve but its exactly the same :( super super slow service takes 20 mins to get tickets every single time. Rude emloyees super freezing everytime and movie never starts on time :( please improve and help our poor lil one and only movie theater here in milledgeville

To often movies stop working properly. Or I cant get a working hearing impaired device. When movie has to be restarted and restarted and youre now starting 40 minutes later and youre paying for a sitter just to get to go to a movie and you get told you cant even be allowed a drink refill? Its pretty crummy customer service.

Staff ok! But the theater its self is horrible. Over price items just because its the only theater in the ville dont mean you have to rape our pockets I mean its ridiculous! On top of that there is no daytime showing thru the weekdays at all you have to wait till 6:00 pm and then they only play the movie one time per day

Went out with my family tonight and had an unpleasant experience with the food staff. Explained and expressed my opinion to the manager after the show. He was extremely nice and apologetic. He immediately made the situation right and gave us free tickets for another visit. Thats the type service we should expect.

Helpful staff, Clean floors and chairs, Pretty good for a small town theater, Good selection of snacks, Clean restrooms, A little cold but not too bad, Good number of seats, Comfortable, Movies are in excellent quality, I have never had a problem with this theater.

I absolutely love coming here because I enjoy the movies. It is the only theatre in Macon, so you make the best of what you have. The staff has always been friendly. Prices are high, as to be expected at any theatre you go to.

the facilities are ok, but the films they select (or are given) to show are really substandard for the most part. there are many, many times when all of the films theyre showing have ratings lower than 25% on rotten tomatoes.

Super great staff and they even takes the time to ask how did you enjoy your movie! Annual popcorn tub $17.50 is great and only $3.50 to get it refilled anytime wow....I love this place

Small theaters, only 6 screens. Call ahead to confirm that the showtimes online are correct. Prices have risen since AMC bought Carmike. Be prepared to spend a little more on popcorn.
