The Yellow Turtle Inn, is a VERY nice quiet little place in New Windsor, MD, which is close to Westminster, MD or Gettysburg, PA. The room we stayed at was called The Queens Suite. The best feature I liked was the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. My wife and I enjoyed it. It is a VERY nice room, and the whole facility is Non Smoking at the house. There is a place outside the house, near the parking lot, where you can smoke, but not at the building. The breakfast was very nice and tasty. I had a bear and a cake set up in my room, before we got there since it was for my wifes birthday and I wanted to surprise her. There also seems to be a nice room, there for a small wedding, if someone is interested. There are other places you might think about, but I would NOT overlook this place for it is nice, and its a great quiet place to relax, for just the two of you, or if you want to make it a family of four or more they have other options available, but it was great for the two of us. IF you go...tell them Daniel recommended the place. Thanks, Daniel Hackett.

Jennifer, the owner is GREAT. I am having my wedding at this location in September, and she has been incredibly friendly off the bat and has provided so much assurance in her services. The main reason we went with Seasons as our venue was because our interaction with her was far more personable than any other interaction we had with other venues. The food through Taste of Life, our caterer, a partner of Seasons, is sooooo good and unique. I cant speak for experiences staying overnight, but Jennifer has been renovating a lot of the inside of the home while retaining the beautiful historic aspects and working on landscaping the outside yards, and everything looks beautiful!

The venue is beautiful, but theyre certainly in need of some remodelling. If they were to put some time and money into things like fresh paint, new siding, and a new dance floor, the venue would be great. At this time though, theyre still a season or two away from looking complete.

The Seasons at Magnolia Manor was a beautiful place to have a wedding. The place was well shaded with the trees and had a nice breeze. The place had a rustic and at home feeling that made it a great chose.
