This is our go-to theater for most movies. If you wanted to see something in 3D or IMAX they dont offer it at this location, which is what I took 1 star away for. But otherwise this is beyond my favorite theater to go to. The seats are amazing and its all selected seating so you dont have to worry about getting a good spot. The seats are huge, comfy and fully recline with tons of room for people to walk by without hitting you. The popcorn is actually pretty good and they have the coke freestyle machines. If you are so inclined you can order from the 4-story Burger menu and have it delivered to your seat. There is a bar and lounge area as well to hang out in if youre early or just want to chill for a bit. The customer service there is generally excellent and they have the free rewards programs. Plus they have cheap popcorn day and the weekdays and afternoon showings are super cheap in comparison to other places. There is a parking garage right beside it that is free for the first 2 hours and then pretty cheap after that (they recently changed the pricing scheme so I dont remember the new prices but I will try to remember to snag a picture next time I am there).

Great movie theater but at night the teen crow from other suburbs are causing commotions in the lobby and standing around outside of entrance. They are not doing a good job in keeping the theater tidy and cannot control the crowds. The management is poor and does not check tickets prior to entering the theater leading to teens jumping from one theater to another without any ticket check. Such a big oversight. Birmingham Palladium needs to hire more intelligent workers and start managing the crowds outside (forbid them from hanging out for along time and congesting the lobby) and clean the popcorns on the floor and clean the food stands. This is a reflection of the downwards spiral of our way of living and its happening in Birmingham. It used to be superior 10 years ago and now most of the people are not liking this place.

Very nice theater, but unless you are a member then plan on sitting in the back with significantly lower level seats (leather recliners compared to rocking chair movement plastic seats). If the price was the same as other places I might consider it an interesting little theater but its $17... Further, when you walk in you have to ride an elevator to get to the theater (4th floor). There are two elevators so guess what happens when the movie finishes. Everyone hangs out by the elevators for a while to ride down. There are stairs, of course, but you arent supposed to use them. Screen size and audio quality are also not above that of any local theater.

Tried to order tickets on-line. As a member we are suppose to be charged $12.00 each after 6 pm. The web site always says $17.00 each even when you are logged in. I wasted $350.00 to belong to this theater for what? Cheap seats and able to order tickets up to 4 hours before the show is scheduled to start. Big deal! The website has been screwed up since it came on line. You would think they would at least take care of that. They give you NOTHING for being a member!! Oh sorry - you get $1.00 off popcorn - such a deal. How about discounting the food at the restaurant instead of paying full price. And ANSWER the phone when someone calls.

I cannot stress how Extremely amazing this theater is. When you walk in on the first floor you can tell your about to be blown away! The Popcorn is fresh, the food....Super delicious, the facilitys are OCD clean, and the staff..... Never have I been to a public establishment where the workers are so nice and make you feel literally "at home" its like the positive vibe is the deal breaker!!! That would be crazy to go somewhere where everything EXCEPT the vibe was amazing✌

This place was kept in immaculate condition! The theater was so clean and lacked the typical movie theater stench. And like all Emagine theaters, they have the amazingly comfortable reclining movie chairs! And surprisingly, the Palladium is so quiet and deserted. Im not sure how, considering their adult tickets are $8 (cheaper than most theaters in this area) and this being a more "upscale" theater. This is definitely my go-to place for films!

I spent the first 45 minutes of my movie trying to get my order of pretzel bites. There was a man ahead of me in line that mentioned his order was not brought to his seat as they said they would bring it out. I ordered. Man told me theyd be delivered. 25 min later.. I didnt receive anything. Went back. Asked where the food was - man had to go get it from the kitchen and it took another 15 minutes. I was not at all impressed with the service.

Was not impressed. It was very dirty in the lobby. The floor was sticky and had popcorn everywhere. Then I went to the screening room where the movie was playing and the screen was either super old or really dirty. All I could see during certain points of the movie were dark lines on the screen. I will just go to emagine Royal oak, I never have these problems. I was just overall very dissatisfied with emagine palladium.

Nice atmosphere from the entry all the way to the auditoriums. Best dressed staff Ive seen in a long time at a movie theater and it is appreciated. And they were pleasant and professional. Auditoriums were spotless and the reclining seats made me feel like I was watching a movie at home. Excellent experience! If you havent tried them since the renovation, you REALLY should!

The customer service at Emagine great. I continually come to this location because of the friendly staff and many services they offer. They deliver food to your seat, which is amazing. They also keep their theatres well maintained and clean after every show. Thanks for the wonderful movie going experience and giving me a reason to watch a movie away from my home.

This is my first visit since the renovation and change in mgmt. I suppose it depends upon when you go, but I went during the day and paid less than 10 dollars for a ticket. Incredibly comfortable and wide seats. The only downside is you have to wait 4 hours if you are not a "platinum" member, but that isnt really a big deal to me.

A bit angry that minors cant go alone. My friend has a membership, but thats the only way we could get in. I understand that some minors may mess up a few things in the theater, but its really a pain when I want to see a movie by myself. Overall experience was nice, a bit expensive though. The seats were very comfortable as well.

This is a recently remodeled movie theater, with restaurant and bar, that has a really strange physical layout. They used to be a 4 story theater, with the ticket office on the ground floor. Now, they only have a elevator lobby on the ground floor, and the theater is on the 4th floor. Still nice, but strange for our area.

The seating was extremely comfortable and an upgrade from the former reclining theater seats. There as room infront of the seats so that you didnt have to stand to let people walk infront of you. I reduced one star because there appeared to be only one elevator to get to the theater area floor from the ground floor.
