This is honestly one of my favorite theaters in Atlanta, and usually I stop by whenever Im around Atlantic Station. Im a bit surprised to see it only has three stars when all of my experiences have been very positive! First off this Regal Cinemas Theater is located inside Atlantic Station off one of their many main (walkable) streets and clustered next to other businesses and shops. Its very easy to find and its close by to the green space and main parking areas. I usually purchase my tickets on the Fandango App ahead of time and its always so efficient and we breeze through the lines with the attendants quickly understanding and scanning the app with no problems. The tickets are a bit pricey usually around $15 dollars, but hey Its Atlantic Station, it could be worse. (However iMax & 3D Experiences can add up a bit more.) Usually their screenings and movies are always up to date and featuring all major movies at the time and there is never a delay in releases. The movies themselves are always very high quality and the sound quality amazing! The inside of the theater is very clean and modern and theres plenty of room in screenings. There are also plenty of items available from the concession stands ranging from popcorn, slushes, hotdogs, nachos, candy, wings, fries, and more! The staff also appear to be pretty friendly and dont mind assisting you if you need help or have questions. Overall, definitely one of the better theaters in Atlanta and one of the best in the area! Probably my go to and me and my friends always have enjoyable experiences. Definitely recommend!

Went there to watch war of planet of apes 3d in VIP. Except for the movie everything else was terrible. They wer having some screening going on so they had a crowd 10 at the entrance, and lady there forgot to give 3d glasses. We walked thinking mayb we will get it before getting into theater or its on chair... after all VIP. :/ We walk in to the VIP area, show the ids and move towards the bar. By now its 7:10pm show is at 7:30pm, and there are 8 people seated at the bar in different stages of ordering. The waiters/bartender girls din even acknowledge our presence till 7:28pm. Now we have not got our 3d glasses yet, so I went and checked with the guy who checked our ids. Well u shud have seen his attitude as I was kind of disturbing him, as he was trying to hit on 1 of the customers.... So after ordering and getting drinks.. beer.. din Wan to bother the girls for making drinks... as they din know, they wer constantly looking at some screen for ingredients and stuffs, we walked into theater. Then we realised the theater is not cleaned nd no 3d glasses waiting for us. My husband had to run nd get tge glasses from all the way up front in 2 mins to make it bk b4 the movie started. The chairs r gud nd the movie was gud too and hence the 2 stars... other than that I am not ever paying 24$ per person jus for the luxury of reclining chair and drinks in this place. Terrible service. Cant even handle a crowd of 8-10, amazes me.

Firstly, it is completely filthy inside. The theater had not been cleaned since the previous viewing. Empty bottles and cups everywhere. A pile of popcorn and ketchup packets at the feet of my assigned seat. The 3D glases were filthy and greasy. Dirty finger prints all over the lenses, and the glasses didnt work. I was still seeing double, or triple, when I out them on. Ive been to many 3D movies at other theaters. Even though the glasses were recycled at other theaters, they were still cleaned and repackaged, because thats what professionals do when they know how to run a business. So, I had to go get more. There was a bin of used glasses inside the doorway so I got more. They were filthy and I had to clean them off. They worked fine but they were a different and bigger kind that dont fit your face. This overall, is the worst theater Ive been to. The manager is clearly awful at his/her job. What an awful experience. Secondly, I saw the IMAX 3D showing of The Walk. The IMAX at Atlantic Station is a total rip off. Its just a slightly larger screen. The IMAX shows Ive been to before have an enormous screen, way bigger than this one. Its not worth the extra dough at Atlantic Station. It seems like a regular size. There are giant screens Ive been to, that still are not marketed as IMAX because theyre smaller than an actual IMAX screen.

I have never reviewed a movie theater in my life. For the most part theyre all pretty much the same but in this case, I just had to say something. Firstly, if you want to see IMAX go somewhere else! The screen is tiny compared to other IMAX theaters. Secondly, we had to wait over 40 minutes in line at the concessions stand. The employees behind the concessions counter were incredibly slow. I dont expect them to be running around back there, but I saw one of them go get some candy and then actually stop to talk to one of the other cashiers on their way back to their register. On top of that, although it was the Sunday after the New Years celebrations and the place was packed, they had about five cashiers out of around ten opened. I got in line 30 minutes before my movie was set to start and I missed the first part of the film even with all the ads and trailers. I will never go there again. Think of it this way, people have been complaining about this issue for some time now and theyve clearly done nothing to correct this issue. This is a clear indication that customer service is not high on their list of priorities. Lastly, I have decent hearing although sometimes I need captions to understand. The volume for Star Wars in the IMAX 3D was so high, it was actually bordering on painful.

My boyfriend and I had the worst, most embarrassing experience here. We went to see Wonder Woman in the VIP area mid-day on a Monday. We are both of age, 41 and 46. I ordered a beer for the two of us and realized I had left my id at home. The kid at the counter told me that neither of us could drink because I did not have my id, and I was not supposed to be let in... yet there was no one to card me when I entered. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said that my boyfriend could drink, but I could not. I told my bf that since I didnt have my id they wouldnt let me drink, but he could. My bf went to get a beer and he came back with two. He said the kid at the counter said hes good. I was surprised but thankful. A few moments later just before the movie started the manager named Dexter and a security officer came into the movie and asked if I had my id. I did not, and he said we had to leave. It was a terribly embarrassing interaction. He refunded our money, but it was such a terrible experience. It ruined our day to be treated so rudely for something so ridiculous, especially given that both of us are well of age. There were many ways they could have taken care of the situation without making us leave. We will not return, that is for sure.
