This is a must do activity for any San Diego tourist! I loved it so much that I went again the same day and received an amazing discount. The guides are hilarious and extremely knowledgable about both seals and the entire San Diego area. The tour is 1.5 hours and youll wish it was longer. The transition from land to sea is seamless and the sea lions are remarkable. We had the rare treat of seeing a live sea lion birth! Dont miss this one!

It was a fun and exciting thing to do. During our trip, there were a couple of fighter jets zooming out. Our Captain and 1st mate, Diego are funny and knowledgeable. They tried to make sure that everyone onboard esp. the kids are having a blast. Time at sea is relaxing. And yes, We did see a lot of seals asleep. Note: If you get both the seal tour and the old town trolley tour, they will give you a $10 discount on total amount.

The tour had 4 "downers": A) the boat moved real slow on the water; B) Tomi made an off-color Catholic joke; C) Tomi made a snarky joke about a piece of community art; and D) not enough music ...a lot of dead time. The whole experience was "bipolar" e.g. either really informative or real uncomfortable with comments made.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff that mixed in humor to keep it interesting, while keeping it family friendly. They even took a group picture for us. It was nice to be able to move around the vehicle while in the water. It was just the right length. It was a bit pricey but well worth it.

Way overpriced tour!! Price is $42 per person. Spokesperson Jack was amazingly great! Knew his stuff and was very educational. Sea lions were sleeping. There is really nothing to see except a gorgeous view of San Diego skyline. Better off booking with "Old Trolley Tours".

The tour itself is so fun. Our tour guide was hilarious and thankfully it was a good day on the water. Hair was flying jokes were being made and the kids laughter and awe was inspiring... The price shocking.. Three adults and two kids... Ouch!

Seal Tour is a avg at best. Done a bunch of Duck Tours. This is not anything like them. Not much on this trip besides the marina. Very little info and sites to see. No downtown / gas lamp viewing. Would waste your time or money.

Highly recommended to take this tour. Half boat half vehicle COME ON that says it all..lol.. Great for family and friends. So much is shown and well explained by the tour guides its well worth every dollar spent for this tour

This is a simple ride through the harbor. The guide is entertaining but its definitely over priced. The highlight of the tour are the sea lions on a dock. Learning about the navy ships and seeing the submarine was cool too.

This was a very well run tour. The guide was very funny, interesting, and informative. The sea lions were cool, though admittedly, their smell was terrible. I recommend it for a couple or a family.

Boring tour and ridiculous price($42 per person). You see nothing more than a few seals. In the other cruise (flagship cruise), you see much more, in a much better ship, and for $10 from Groupon.

Some times its nice to look at the city you are currently living in through the eyes of a visitor. Had a blast the other day during a tour. Learned a bunch too. Recommend!

Super boring, it takes a hour and a half to drive/float to the sea lion barge to see a bunch of sea lions sleeping. I would not recommend, Just goto la joia cove

The tour is not so much about San Diego. Its more about Point Loma area. If you want a San Diego history tour, this is not the one.
