There should be a warning that there is no real tour and that you may feel ill. You will see two small rooms and then sit in one room for 30 minutes getting detailed instructions on how to amputate an arm without anesthesia and complete other surgical interventions. Even for those with a medical background...gross. The next room is a detailed discussion of herbal remedies. Boring. The docent does an amazing job of imparting this information but way too long and way too detailed. Not for minors.

Very informative guide, and a very interesting tour. The staff here was extremely helpful and kind, and definitely knew their stuff! This was a good tour for the money. The tour consists of a self guided small area with medical instruments, and a quick 2-room tour going over the surgeons office and the room for last rights of a patient without hope. Then you get a more in-depth explanation in two larger rooms going over surgery and apocethary. Both were very interesting!

More of a story then a historic view, two and a half rooms with some historic items and some herbs ... if your guide is good you will puke your lunch out from the "historical description of an operation ". Your English should be good enough to understand the jokes and sarcasm or youre going to miss half the fun.

Really liked the tour,a little creepy. The Spanish doctors leaned a lot from the Moors but had no idea why it worked so they still practiced since barbaric medicine. Wonder if hundreds of years from now people will look back and be like those Americans at the beginning of the 21st century were savages.

Guided tour by a really interesting fellow. The old hospital procedures are pretty gross. My favorite part is the apothecary history. That is pretty fascinating.
