Climbing the lighthouses spiraling metal staircase, you can imagine the thousands of times people walked there before, working to save the lives of sailors and passengers traveling the lake. Interesting collection of local artifacts; I would have liked to see more explanatory plaques. Great views and friendly staff.

Nice museum with lots of great old maritime items. The best thing is the original lighthouse light. Dont forget to climb to the top of the lighthouse for great views of the area.

Great museum, 69 steps to top - fantastic view at the top. Great and informative personnel. Vets free. Worth the $5 donation for everyone else.

Lighthouse is neat to walk up, but I think this should be free. Not much besides the lighthouse. Plus, it is a far drive from Cleveland.

It was closed when we drove thru. Proximity to nuclear power plants made this location uncomfortable for me.

Its quaint and interesting. Its also right next to the beach/lake area which is a beautiful sight. ❤

Great local museum. Very very small, but a bit of it is the front of an old ship. Unique place.
