This is pretty much the only theater in Highlands County now. Its got crisp, clean screens in all auditoriums and the popcorn is amazing (besides the hefty price of course)... BUT, I just wished they would turn up the sound when presenting movies. You can hear teenagers, little kids and even adults talk over the movies every time Ive gone here. Its not just one particular auditorium, its all of them. People pay the admission price to be immersed into the movie experience but its kinda hard to get that when you can barely hear the dialogue on screen and instead have to put up with rude, obnoxious patrons that are obviously there to just "kill time". Just turn the volume up and maybe these talkers will shut up and watch the movie the way its supposed to be. Also, theres no stadium seating so your view is just slightly obstructed if someone tall sits in front of you.

Starting with the lines to get your popcorn and your tickets it shouldnt take that long to be able to get through that line then the handicap accessible seating should be addressed as handicap accessible seating theres always people sitting there this should just be a sign that says reserved seating for handicapped they have it at other malls at other theaters I dont see why its a big deal to put it on there also the bathroom door is very heavy to push it is a bit old and outdated but its the only one we have here because the other one B&B they dont play the same movies they always either you see it at one theater or you see it at the other they have different showings and both of the theaters on a good note mugs and movies thats a good thing the waitresses theyre always nice and polite....

This theater has gone up in price and down in value. Salt is no longer available for you pricely unless you pay 1.50 more for a side contaner of flavored salt. The movie picture flickered on and off constantly during the previews. And did once in The movie as well. The seats are much out of date in comparison to the Fairmount theater. And over all I will not be seeing a movie in this theater untill I hear some postive feed back via word of mouth. The movie times no longer play past 8 unless its holidays. Mugs and movie was a big selling point of this theather. But it has gone down hill there is only one person on shift in mugs and she is responsible for taking orders and cooking for everyone in the theater. Quite rediclous. The food it self is subpar.

The Carmike lakeshore theaters is the worst. They have many rude workers there and do not make you feel welcome. The place is crusty and has leaks and peels on the ceiling. They dont even let you have a cup of water. Its $11 for one ticket!! We paid for our tickets to watch finding dory but because of some trouble we had to leave and they didnt let us stay to watch the movie we bought our tickets for. They basically stole our money refusing to give us a refund when we didnt watch one bit of the movie. There were 3 of us at the movies so they took $33 from us for nothing. I recommend the Fairmount theaters which has a lower price and you definitely feel welcome:)

Was literally ignored the entire show for "mugs n movies"... there were three other parties who got service. I was offered menus initially and in plain view for the whole showing. I know the waitress knew I was there. Even entering the establishment 4 people were behind the counter and all were completely disinterested in guests and didnt acknowledge the wrong times on the marquees when we mentioned it. Seriously, the trashy service, the trashy seats, and the outdated everything makes no wonder their rivals are dominating. Im incredibly disappointed and I will continue to judge their poor performance.

This theater is so outdated; it looks like the last renovation took place in the 80s. The seats are uncomfortable, and, every 15 minutes a staff member walks in to check the exit door in the front of the theater with their loud clanky keys. You have to buy your tickets at the snack bar and that takes forever not just because you have to wait on people getting food, but also, the workers are so busy chatting about the latest gossip to man the second cash register. I dont care about their Tuesday deal, the only way Ill go back to this theater is if admission to a new release movie was a dollar.

What a really bad experience we had tonight. We came to watch a 6:50 pm showing of a movie. We arrived at 6:45 pm and sat through 40 minutes of commercials and previews. When our movie came on it was an entirely different movie. The staff there said they changed the sign above the entrance at 6:45 pm while we were inside. No courtesy to let us know our movie was changed to a different location. The movie we wanted to watch was playing all this time, so we were out of luck.

Management made this experience entirely unpleasant to say the least. They accused my boyfriend of videotaping the movie we saw on his cell phone, no less, and persisted to harass us even after he voluntarily put it away, THEN displayed his phone and album after they came back again without cause, with progressively senior management for a third time. It was definitely unwarranted overkill. I wrote to the district manager and encouraged my boyfriend to file a complaint.

Verry bad your cook Ramireo Isa Drunk and a woman ABUSER Am discussed this company would have such a person connected to your establishment I will Never go to your theater Ever Again .as long as he is working for your company. He is a convicted fellon woman rapest .Your company should be in paper for what kind of employees you have working for you .let alone cooking the food for the public.

I called the theater for information on an upcoming movie showing date, but the theater folks didnt know anything about it. I then called the Carmike headquarters office to inquire and left a message asking when the movie would be scheduled, but no one ever called back. Customers service leaves a bit to be desired as I would expect the main office to at least return calls.

Movie preview were OVER 33 minutes before Finding Dory started. Way, way too long for small children to sit thru. That plus the 15 minutes on ticket line and refreshments is not customer friendly. Workers (the few they have) were nice but well unlikely to go there ever again to see a kids movie. Not recommended for families with small kids. Tt

I have recently lost a lot of hearing. They have a horrible headset system to be able to hear the movie. No way could I hear the movie without it. I was up four times trying to get someone to fix it. No one helped, no one even apologized. Never going back, whats the point I cant hear the movie. Plus it was really hot in there.

This theater is old, disgusting, and has a horrible staff. It looks like it has never been renovated and most of the seats have springs broken / broken arm rests. Go to the B&B Theater, they just did a full renovation and has a much better staff and screens and sound. (Heck, they even have recliner chairs,
