Dont trust the reviews below, theyre the new owners and faculty. This place is the definition of a slum. It smells, the movies are months old (around 4-6 months) the food is disgusting, popcorn has a burned taste to it and I dont trust that they clean the coke fountain nozzles. The bathrooms are filthy and neglected and rarely ever kept clean. The theater seats are so old I remember sitting in those same seats in the mid 90s when I was a kid, and they smell horrific. The floor is always a sticky mess and you have to walk around trying not to step on candy, gum, popcorn and spilled beverages like youre navigating through a landmine dump. The sound is awful, if cracks and pops and my $100 sound bar sounds better. Same with the video quality, absolute garbage and you can tell theyve mended and taped the screen numerous times so you have to see literal tape on top of the picture. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time, if youre reading this Ive lived in DeLand most of my life and this is a disaster of a cinema. Go to Orange City or if you feel like a nice drive, go to Daytona City Walk on the beach and actually enjoy a movie. This place should be condemned. Its really a shame, used to be such a good cinema.

Me and some friends went to the movie theatrers to hangout and stuff. We were going to see the movie "Kong" because it looked pretty good. There were two showings that night one at 6:30 and one at 7:30. We bought tickets for the 7:30 showing. The employee behind the counter didnt tell us what theatre to go to. So we looked and saw that the closest theatre said "Kong" on it so we went inside. We were already kind of late so when we got there it had already started and we werent really surprised. About 45 minutes later, the movie ends and we were all confused at why the movie was so short. We leave the theatre and see that theres another theatre showing kong. We went to the wrong showtime because the lady behind the counter didnt tell us which theatre to go to. Other than that the theatres were clean.

My daughter and I are frequent visitors to this theater,we go about 2-3 times a month and have been going since about 2000. Ive never noticed any sound popping sounds or weird issues with the movies as other reviewers described. Yes the movies are older, thats what you get from a $2 theater. Yes the popcorn and sodas cost the same as they do at any other theater, so this should not be a shock to anyone.Popcorn is $2 on Thursdays and you can get a little cup of water free if you want to go cheap. The kids always clean up the theater after the movies, I have never seen the bathrooms dirty. Yes everything is a bit old, its an old theater, but again, to hammer the point home, its a $2 theater. Everyone is really friendly, but again, were frequent visitors so everyone knows us.

This is a great place for the price. On Saturday night it was pretty clean, the employees were nice, and best of all the seats were really comfortable! Of course tickets are also only $2. This is much better than the dollar theater in Altamonte. Of course its not as nice as a theater showing new movies, the tickets are 1/5 of the price, after all. My only negative is that the projector wasnt a super good one, and in dark scenes blacks got pretty washed out. But it wasnt bad enough to alter the experience. Will definitely be returning!

I was impressed. Last week was the first time I have been to this theater. Comfortable seats, clean and saw a 3D movie for 4 bucks. One big problem I had a real hard time hearing the dialogue. I missed about 2/3rds of the talking. About half way through the film I moved up closer, because I know the center speaker for voice is behind the screen. It helped a bit but need to turn up the center speaker so (we) can hear what the heck is being said. You miss the dialogue, you cannot understand what the movie is about.

Like most theaters Victoria 6 is primary ran by teens however it appears to be managed by them as well. The carpets and floors are constantly dirty/sticky. Many of the seats are left broken for months without remidiation. The theater in general is in a state of disrepair. Several movies Ive attended have had loud popping coming from the speakers and flickering on bright colors during the film. Parking is abysmal. Prices for food and drink are roughly 30% higher than any theater of the same quality.

My family and I go to this theater once in a while and have never had a problem with the movie popping or the condition of the screen. The theater cleanliness has also never been a problem. The staff has also always been very nice. Parking can get a little crowded and snacks are the same price as other theaters, but what do you want for $2 admission? If you want the Taj Mahal, then pay the higher admission prices and go to the other theaters.

We go here often. Great value. The snack prices are standard for a theater so yes they are high, but do different from any other theater. The movies are a little old like any dollar theater, but some movies dont take very long to show up there. They are owned by Epic ( theater in Deltona). I has never had any sound problems, but it can happen even at newer places. Go check them out its worth it.

Good price on tickets. Food prices need to be lower. Which they would close the doors when movie starts. Customers shouldnt have too. If you dont you will here the movie next door. The ticket guy last time was telling everybody the wrong directions to their theater.. If they change the locations they should let them know. Heard alot of comments from customers aggravated by this.

Price is king. This budget theater means I can take my 2-year-old and not feel like I wasted money if I have to leave early because shes rowdy, scared, whatever. Popcorn is popcorn, impossible to ruin. The place is old but maintained. Seats are standard theater fare, no problems, with arm rests that flip up if you dont want the barrier between the seats.

Tried to watch Split but a group of boys ran in really loudly spilling popcorn all over... they were noisy during the whole movie!! Also, I bought some minute made frozen lemonade and asked for a spoon. They gave me a plastic spoon that they pulled out of a dollar store brand bag. It was a little dirty...

Excellent prices, good clean and confortable seats. Often not a huge number of people. Friendly staff. We go here often. Concessions are still regular movie theater prices although they have discount nights. I love this place! You just cant be upset that everyone else you know already saw the movie
