I booked a front row table 3 months out for my first night of my honeymoon before our cruise the next day. We told the Director of Sales that we would be arriving on an airplane, but that we would be there. The manager Chris Kelly called us at 9:10pm stating since we hadnt shown up for our table and because the contract states that you must show up for your reservation by 9pm to be given your table. That Mr. Chris Kelly was going to sell my table. Now I didnt think that was fair, but business is business. I requested that Mr. Chris Kelly refund my $150.00 fee as he sold my table, and he refused saying call the corporate office. I told Mr. Chris Kelly that he could either a refund my money and we could go our separate ways b he could honor our contract giving our special occasion (and I would pay the late charge per the contract in the amount of $75.00, when I arrived), or c he could do none of those and I will dispute with my credit card company, and leave negative feedback on social media sites, to show what he did to us. Mr. Chris Kelly said he was not going to refund our money, nor was he going to honor the contract (meaning I couldnt pay the late fee) because he took it upon himself to sell our table, and he said if you decide option three then have fun ruining our reputation on social media. What a viscous man to say that to a newlywed groom, who has come from New York to Orlando after just getting married to come to your establishment, and this is how you treat them. I had vacations booked in 2012 to visit another 3 locations, but have canceled all of them, as the corporate office will not return my phone calls. In addition I have visited 4 other locations, and Orlando would have been my fifth. Due to Mr. Chris Kellys treatment of my new wife and I, we have sworn to never visit another Howl at the Moon in our lives! Companys cant be allowed to treat their customers anyway they choose. If he wants to honor the contract, then honor the whole thing, and not just the part that fits the business at the given time. My money is just as green as the next!

I tried to book my husbands birthday party with 13 guests here with a birthday special and open bar. when I emailed the email that was listed on the website a sales rep. replied with a package option completely unrelated to my needs and when I asked what was appropriate for my group size sent me a completely different set of package options. I immediately chose one I liked I only had one question about it and I emailed back to ask my question before putting my deposit. We started speaking Thursday he replied Friday afternoon and I answered him back shortly after. I never got a response. The party was for Sunday evening, Saturday afternoon I still had not heard from the sales rep and sent another email asking to put a deposit to reserve the space as I was worried about the closing gap of time..no response. When I call I get an automated machine that says their offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday. I never got an email saying the sales rep would be unavailable Saturday and Sunday and never got an email to ask if I wanted to finalize for the party before they left on Friday. So even though they knew it was for Sunday they left the office on Friday not having finalized or reserved the space and if I wanted to go there each person would have to pay to get in and we would all have to hope to get 15 seats together, which as I understand would have been unlikely and the added birthday options would not have been applied. This is one of the most unprofessional sales staff I have ever dealt with and I will never even consider to take people here again for any occasion. I would give it zero stars if I could, I never even got to experience the actual entertainment, drinks or anything and it is already the worst experience I have ever had. I had to scramble to find another venue with available space for our party, which was very hard within 48hr notice and it has ended up costing me a great deal more, I wish I had never attempted to book this place. Thank you for nothing.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We just went in with 10 people. $50 to the bar just on entry. We were ready to buy lots of drinks and have a great time. We would have easily spent over $1000...but we left without ordering a thing. The general manager has an asinine policy that you cannot move the 4-top tables and cannot move chairs. We are a group of 10, so that would separate us and send 2 off by themselves. After 3 door guys aggressively challenged us fir moving the tables, we asked for the GM. GMs head is completely up his ass. His reason for not allowing us to sit together was that it would impede his servers. WHAAAAAAAAT? SERIOUSLY?? That is ridiculous! The GM actually told us that he does not need our money. Fine, maybe he doesnt need yours, either. Now, dont get me started on the fact that this place is unlike any Howl at the Moon I have been to. It was dark. The 20 or 30 people there were quiet and not singing. The musicians were playing to themselves, not interacting with (or even looking at) the customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. We even had a problem forcing the GM to give us a refund of the door fee. Our friend who paid the cover was so offended that had already left for BLUE MARTINI. GM said he could not give a refund without the card -- it took 15 minutes to get him to agree to give the refund by looking at the receipt our friend had just signed. WE LEFT AND WALKED 5 MINUTES TO BLUE MARTINI. Take my advice. Unless you want to sit quietly in the dark in small groups, put this place on your DO NOT GO list.

It was a great experience for a bar, but not very good if you are trying to reserve a Friday Night Happy Hour Party. They do not have a list, or ask anyone if they are with the party, they just ask if they are there for the happy hour. Obviously everyone is going to say yes, which lead to only a 1/5 of my real guests being allowed to enter. They maxed out my guest count on people I didnt even know, and tried to make my true guests pay to enter my event. Many of my friends and guests didnt want to deal with paying a cover, and waiting until Howl at the Moon wasnt maxed out to go in, so they decided to leave. With the Happy Hour Party, they said that you, and your party, would get discounted drinks all night. They had no specification that said it was only with the specials they were running that night, and not a discount on whatever you were drinking for the night. There was really nothing special about "reserving" a party, because everything offered to you is offered to everyone who enters the bar. Over all, Howl at the Moon is a fun place to be, but paying to reserve a party is pointless, a waste of money, and just going to piss you off in the end.
