have been coming to Sanibel for the last three years and my husband and I have enjoyed our time here immensely, until today. I went into your restaurant to try and enjoy myself and watch the Minnesota Gopher game. I asked the bartender to change the channel to the game. There was 2 minutes left in the game and went to commercial. Suddenly I discovered the channel was changed to "The Closer" (at a bar?). I immediately asked the bartender to change it back to the game. A customer said, "NASCAR is on." I said, "There was only a few minutes left of the game." The bartender gave me a blank stare and did nothing. I know Im not a regular but Im a paying customer and theres 10 TVs in your establishment. You had to change my TV when theres two others facing the red neck NASCAR lover? I dont see myself running back to your establishment if your bartender doesnt play fair. Like I told your hostess, "Left a bad taste in my mouth." And as I said to my husband, "You need to be with me on this island to get the respect a vacationer deserves." (My skin color isnt like everyone elses on the island - and Im not playing the race card but Im just calling it as I see it.) Sanibel - been there done that. I may not be an islander but we come down here and spend a lot of money and without us you guys would be nothing.

Came here after going over several reviews and it well worth the experience. The atmosphere was clean and inviting and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. We came in with a group of 10, including 6 kids under 12. Needless to say making sure everyone got what they wanted was challenging but our waitress Cathy and her team made not happen. We started with the chicken wings.. Awesome! The kids got grilled cheese sandwiches.. Awesome! Moving onto the Black & Bleu and Bacon Cheeseburger.. Awesome! Overall this is easily the best burger experience and possibly the best dining experience for the value on the Island.

Painting of fish and sea turtles was the best thing about this place. Seasonal vegetables were frozen "asian style stir fry veggies." Waitress needs to know the differences between onions and red peppers. Grilled shrimp was over cooked. One member of our party ordered the Drunken Grouper. Grouper was over cooked and too much "fresh chilies and lime sauce." OK if you ordered fried onion rings and fried shrimp. We were told that it all come pre-frozen on the food delivery truck. Not to hard to put that in the deep fryer. Will not be back. Disappointing.

Our family came here for a quick lunch after a trip to the Darling Wildlife Refuge because a friend recommended it. Everything was excellent. I had a great Mojito and everyone else had frozen drinks - all were great. If you like Sushi, I highly recommend the Tuna Nachos (because they taste like Sushi). They were AMAZING! Everyone else had the Coconut Shrimp and they all raved about that as well. We had our dog with us and were welcome to eat on the patio with him. Worth a visit!

Food is okay at best, but more than adequate for a holiday or tourist stop. Family friendly and decent service make it a great option for visitors to Sanibel. In addition, the walls are decorated with fantastic local artist paintings that are available for purchase. Check out the open mic on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 11pm for a great live music accompaniment to your evening out!

Popped in earlier this afternoon to check out the menu, as wed heard good things. The guy at the host stand grumbled "Help you?" at me and I replied that wed never visited before, so were just having a look. He said nothing in reply but shrugged and sneered slightly, as if our presence had ruined his week. Well done Mr Host Guy, you just cost your restaurant a table of 8.

Recently went twice during Thanksgiving week. The waiter "Torry" was excellent. He provided excellent menu selection ideas. The clam chowder was phenomenal. The seafood Alfredo was great. Drunken grouper was super. Easy to find location with plenty of parking in adjoining lot. Prices what were expected on island ($20 to $28) casual dress and you can dine outdoors.

The positives: Place was neat, had good live jazz music, and carmen was a very good friendly bartender offering $1 Jell-O shots. Couple negatives: place seemed a little overly expensive most beer drafts were $6-7 and their margs and mixed drinks seemed between $9-10. Fun pace but be prepared to spend a bit more than average.

Best Restaurant on the Island! On a recent trip to Sanibel a friend recommended George & Wendys and Im so glad they did! It was the best meal of our trip. I would have actually gone back every night for dinner, but I do like to try different restaurants to compare. Which is how I can say this was the best meal of the trip.

Food was underwhelming and expensive. We were surprised to find that gratuity was added (about 20%) without our consent. We were a party of two adults and two children and it was the first time I ever saw that happen. Service was friendly but robotic. Location is like a strip mall. Cannot believe the good reviews here.

Quick and friendly service! Even during the busy dinner rush we had our appetizer and meals out quickly. Portion sizes were generous and everyone commented on the freshness of their meal. Our group split a key lime pie for dessert that they said was homemade. It was wonderful! Perfect tartness!

Il ristorante si presenta bene. La cucina propone diversi tipi di piatti alla griglia ed il fattore comune é il piccante. Consigliato

Great food, fantastic service...would make a killing if they opened for sunday champagne brunch...(breakfast spot accross the street is small, hot, and crowded with a wait)...my only criticism is to use all fresh ingredients. ..fresh manadarin oranges, fresh squeezed lemonade etc to make 100%

Amazing food and awesome experience! Alex was our waiter and he was awesome and funny! He paid special attention to the fact that my daughter has a sesame allergy and made sure her meal was perfect! The brownie dessert was wonderful at his recommendation! We will definitely be back!

Fish tacos were extremely salty and very "fishy" for grouper. We had it taken off our bill. Clam chowder also was too salty and overly spiced. Try island cow, Sanibel fish house, or Gramma Dots for a much better experience! Dont waste your money here!

It was fun atmosphere, Too expensive just for drinks and dinner.. However they do have pool tables and a game room for kids! They also brought the beach right to their front door!! nice relaxing area on periwinkle way..

Generous servings, and amazing food. I got the fried haddock sandwich and the fish was very tender and had a perfect crunch. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting, perfect family restaurant with outdoor seating.
