I held my wedding at Miami Shores Country Club. It would be an understatement to say that my wedding was just great, it was actually the wedding of the decade at least. I started planning my wedding with almost a full year in advance, and I looked at over 10 places for the venue. As soon as I walked in Miami Shores country club I thought that it was automatically out of my Budget. However, after I sat down with Resa Strickland (Catering Coordinator) I was so surprised with all their menu options and price ranges. They were also very helpful working with my vendors and during the whole preparation process. The memories from my wedding are going to last a lifetime, and Im very happy happy that I held it a Miami Shores CC because they made it everything to perfection. Almost every single one of my guest has come back to me to tell me how perfect the place was including the food, the ambiance and the service. Resa and Pavel the Beverage Director where present that night making sure that everything was smoothly, and I couldnt be more thankful for that. Thank you Miami Shores CC for helping me and my husband Marcos have the night of a lifetime.

Its an okay course, greens are in okay condition. Very short, not much trouble off the tee. Can advance the ball far enough up the fairway so that the small greens and numerous bunkers are not an issue. Range is alright, expensive, balls are not great, ground is not level and mostly chewed up. Putting green is pretty good, usually kept at a high standard but they close it at 5... The chipping green is in good shape- despite its small size, offers a few options for practice. Course is overpriced for what it is. Play it twilight or using the premier card. Absolutely not worth paying more. Its like a slightly more upscale palmetto. Courses that are similar in price and better are plenty in number. Best course in the area? probably, theres not really much competition - or courses for that matter close to MSCC. Drive another 15-30 mins would be my suggestion.

I tried the course out for the first time today after hearing about the recent renovation. I was extremely disappointed. The course has an interesting enough layout. You have to work your ball on a few holes, and have a few decisions to make off the tee on a few others. I like the par 3s. The greens were pretty good, although Im not a huge fan of elevated greens. The big disappointment in the course is that, despite pouring at least 1 mil into the course, its still infested with St. Augustine grass. That type of grass has no business on a golf course. That grass is meant to be in back yards. Why spend the money if you are going to leave stuff like that out there? Where exactly did they spend the money?

Worst service ever, terrible cuatomer service by the staff at the pro shop, his name is Alex. I used to go there every weekend. But today I didnt have my driver and they just didnt wanted to rent me a driver. What kind of golf club doesnt have a driver for rent? And on top of that the staff tells me that if I were a member they would rent it. So they did have the driver but they just didnt wanted to rent it. This is non sense.

A rarity in South Florida - a golf course that doesnt involve a housing development. The course plays very fairly - no blind holes and has a layout that isnt boring. The back 9 holes are more interesting than the front nine. The club house is a throwback to the 1940s. There is a driving range, putting green, practice trap, and chipping green. A particularly beautiful course to play in the late afternoon.

Course in great shape, average course. Guy in pro shop really needs to work on his math skills. Took us 10 to 15 minutes, no lie, to work him thru a 2 for 1 coupon, at first said they did not have that coupon, then I pointed out the paper that was hanging behind him that was the company the coupon was from. I was really shaking my head as I walked out.

Nice natural course that goes with the land. Plenty of bunkers to try and avoid. Nice water hazards that are a challenge to stay out of. Its a playable course but you have to be hitting it well that day. Nice staff and attendants. Finally a Miami course with minimal houses. I like that. Old style pro shop that is well run.

The Miami Shores Golf Course is in great shape after the $1,000,000 renovation. ALl new tee boxes, irrigation & brand new greens. I highly recommend you play the course and stay for lunch afterwards. Where else can you play and see manatees in the canal that hit over.

For local pokemon go players, this spot is a good place to hunt for nests. The actual golf course will provide moderate pokemon hunting success but the parking lot is quite active. It has one gym and three poke stops.

An inviting, well maintained course. Great that they have a driving range. The clubhouse is a refreshing place to cool off and eat, nice setup overlooking the range. Price is very decent for golf in the area.
