We played on a Saturday afternoon and yes it was busy. we started at 2:30. There was a very very slow foursome in front of us who refused to allow us to play through. There were no Marshalls available anywhere, in fact we had to call into the clubhouse from our cell phone to get someone out. It took almost three hours to play the front nine. When we finally got to the back nine there were about four groups who cut in front of us and were were backed-up again. My wife and I were putting on the 11th hole when a ball landed right next to my wife and went over the green! the group behind us hit into us from the TEE box. after this we just left the course!!! I will never play this course again. I have been golfing for 40 years and this is the worst experience i have ever had.

Played this course last week. I am a mid to low handicapper and have never played the course before. Staff seemed to be very polite and helpful. Tee boxes and fairways seemed to be in great shape and well manicured. A few greens had rough spots but for the most part all were in great shape and putted very consistent. Was a bit busy for a weekday but not knocking a course because of popularity. Plan on playing course again soon and would recommend to anyone.

Long hitters can find themselves in some troubles on a good course with few water hazards. Designed by Ellis Maples this course was a joy to visit. Conveniently located in the heart of Winston Salem near WSSU. Played 18 in just under hours, it was early spring on a Friday morning so it couldnt have been more beautiful. Stunning views of the city skyline gives this course a wonderful ambiance.

Played here quite a few times. Course layout is fun and not overly challenging. I have repeatedly had pace of play issues though. Never seen a marshal/ranger and calls to the pro shop have proven fruitless. That said, if you can get out without being stuck behind too many slow groups, then it can be a real joy to play.

Pretty nice course and fun to play. Definitely a challenge for most golfers. The cart paths could use some restoration though.

Nice course. Fast greens and nice fairways only bad thing was slower players didnt let you play through. Will be going back.
