This is a military history museum, and a sort of chapel which pays homage to those who served yesterday, serve currently and will serve tomorrow. It is full of relics, gadgets, gear and transportation (marine vessels, mostly, plus helos and more), making it a fun and informative experience for most anyone. (To relate it to pop culture, this place gives me, in part, a sense that Im visiting a museum of James Bond gadgets. Which are inspired by such military and spy gadgets as youll see here.) I know how dulling the prospect of visiting a museum can be to many folks. You dont want to be bored by being force-fed history on a few hours out. I wont judge. I want you to resist that anti-educational outing inclination. My motivational advice: if you have merely a creeping suspicion that you MIGHT enjoy this museum, visit it. Youll get something out of it. I am sure of it! Any time I hear about the Navy SEALs, since my first visit, I think of this museum. It is a reference point in my mind, it had such an impact on my impression of the Navy teams. The museum is located along the shores where Americas underwater fighting teams got their start, and that leaves a strong impression. You may sense the presence of those earlier heroes training, much like you might sense the soldiers of much farther past, when at Gettysburg or Bunker Hill. It is an aggressive and daring group of heroes this place honors. it will either inspire or humble you, or both. This museum will remind you just what "service" means, to the extreme. The bonus to visiting this museum is that, unless you cannot appreciate any gadget or vehicle of any kind, youll get a kick out of the unusual items on display! How can you lose? Check it out.

I thought I was seeing things when I saw a flyer for an upcoming political event, "Republicans for Randy" (Perkins, a Democrat), to be held at this museum. Are you kidding me? What kind of shenanigans is this 501(c)(3) pulling when such political activities are "absolutely prohibited" by the IRS? And Randy? A man who publicly and disgracefully disparages the service of his double amputee veteran opponent in particular, and veterans in general? Support a museum who supports a guy who doesnt support the bravest men and women our country has and had? Never. Absolutely no way will I ever support this museum. Save the trip, patriots, and instead watch "Live to Tell: Task Force Merrill" on the History Channel instead.

Took my family down to the area on a mini vacation, found out about the museum a day before we left. What an great place. Its kind of out of the way but that makes it more enjoyable in my opinion. So much to see and learn. My 6 year old son liked all the static displays of the boats, helicopter and mini subs. He sat and watched the whole seal buds video they had playing as well as the swic video. (to get him to stop and sit is a challenge but not with these) Really hope to make it in the next time they have a muster call. I believe it is in early Nov. Double thumbs up and and big thank you to all of our SEALS!!!!! US Navy vet

It is by far one of the most impressive military museums in the country. From the displays to the very professional staff it is an exciting and moving experience. I strongly urge all Veterans and their families to visit. And even if you have no military background it is still a very exciting way to spend a few hours. From the weaponry on display to all of the Naval vessels including Captain Phillips Lifeboat to a Blackhawk Helicopter to a mockup of Osama Bin Ladens compound donated by 60 Minutes after it was displayed on their TV show. Do it! You will not regret that you visited.

Not worth it, a complete rip-off. Had friends drive down 3 hours to go with us, we were staying at Vero Beach, wanted to see the large life boat that is shown on all of their adds. paid $8.00 each to get in, went all the way thru , did not see the life boat, went outside and could not find it, went back into the desk and asked about it, was told that it was there, but that part was closed for construction, why could they not tell us that before we spent our money. A true rip-off and a disgrace to the navy seals. I would not recomend this to anyone. Money making racket.

VERY Interesting. This is a must visit if you enjoy history or anything pertaining to the Navy Seals. Great information and well presented. I am not really a history buff, but totally respect the armed services. This was a total enjoyment for me. All of the material is top quality and well presented. The price is a steal!!! Lots of info for only $10.00. We were there about 2 and 1/2 hours, could have looked around outside more, but it was storming. I would highly recommend this as a nice day trip for anyone here in Florida.Great job!!!!

This truly is a must see and will make you proud to be an American. The museum is packed with information, exhibits, videos and films. The docents are very informative and helpful. Even thought the museum has so much to see and do, there is an intimate feeling about it. To see how the Seals are trained and the work they do, will give you such a feeling of awe and respect for these men that will sacrifice their lives for their country and all us that live here. Thank you, thank you and we will never forget.

World class displays (better than some of the Smithsonian), informative and friendly staff/volunteers and both very detailed and utterly fascinating. This museum is full of artefacts and machinery you cannot find anywhere else in the US (or the world) and if you have even a passing interest in the US military or US history I highly recommend you stop in. On a more staid note, there was plenty of parking, the prices were very reasonable ($8 per adult) and the gift shop was also better than average.

This is the place that history was made. Where the UDT/SEAL training first began. A compact but expanding museum that is rich in history and knowledge to educate anyone, why our SEALs are the best. Worth the travel to see this museum. Check the website for the Annual Muster in Nov of each year. A must see event where all the SEALs come home to lay their eggs. Its a whos who crowd and FREE to the public. Donations accepted. This museum is a great 4 hours of non-stop history.

Located adjacent to Pepper Park beach, this hidden gem of the Treasure-coast will walk you through the 70-year history of the Navys UDTs and SEALs. World class interactive exhibits allow you to touch and feel the world of the much acclaimed Navy SEALs. Very kid friendly including outdoor exhibits and an outdoor obstacle course for those intrepid souls who want to try their luck on the same types of obstacles the SEALs use in training.

I raised thousands of dollars for Navy SEAL families over the years now the museum has turned political. They now think its ok to host an event for a liberal left wing politician like Randy Perkins who has disrespected double amputee Brian Mast a combat veteran running for congress in district 18. I will never return to this museum - a boycott is the only solution - Navy SEAL families are disrespected by this event.
