I visited this museum a few years ago. I try to visit every museum a city has to offer, so I write this review a little biased due to my positive view of all museums. The volunteer at the museum asked me how I heard about the museum and if I am Jewish. I told her the internet and that I am not Jewish. She then asked if I knew this was a Jewish museum. I told her yes and that I enjoy all museums. That was kind of awkward. Regarding the museum, it was interesting if you really like Florida or Jewish history or the combination of the two. I like Florida history, so I found the museum worthwhile. I would go again if Im in the area.

מומלץ לבקר, קיבלנו הסבר בחינם שהיה מעניין מאוד. לא המוזיאון הכי מפואר ומסודר בעולם אבל חשוב לכל יהודי להכנס. בעיקר על יהדות מיאמי.

Interesante lugar para conocer los orígenes de la comunidad judía en Miami y en South Beach especialmente. Tiene la sinagoga fotos y diferentes muestras.

Worth a visit if you have an interest in Jewish history and have some extra time in Miami Beach. The museum is housed in a former synagogue, and while the exhibit is somewhat confusing to follow (there is a lot of information squeezed into not a lot of room), there are very interesting bits of information and photos to be found throughout.

Be mindful that U have to go thru a metal detector to go in and a CWFL is not accepted, overkill security especially in a nice neighborhood like that. I walked right out.

May 2016 - great sculpture exhibit and unique architecture, free admission on Saturdays, no photography allowed though
