I went to the Funky Biscuit while on a Bus Loop. The Funky Biscuit has a beautiful outdoor front area and the inside is your classic comedy club type setting. The beer is limited and the domestic is only Bud Light. The main thing that absolutely ruined my first experience at the Funky Biscuit was this doorman. I got my drinks from the bar and was walking to go back outside to meet my friends and enjoy Funky Biscuits outdoor ambience. I set my drinks down on what seemed to me as a half wall so I could answer a text. At the moment a doorman came up to me and turned some plastic stand around and said "can you f*%&! read?" I saw the sign said drinks are not allowed passed the "leslie organ". I apologized to the door man and told him I had not seen the sign and I am not sure what a leslie organ is to which he replied "how about what your drinks are sitting on", I apologized over and over again and removed my drinks. The doorman says to me "good call. finish and get out". I honestly walked right back to the bar, gave these guys my two beers and left. I WILL NEVER EVER go back to the Funky Biscuit. It is a shame because I did like the atmosphere of the place but it isnt worth getting treated so poorly. Good luck to anyone else that goes there and do not pass the "leslie organ" with your drinks!!

My husband and I were there last night to attend the Johnny Winter concert. We had purchased reserved seating a month prior to the event. We were provided with the specific seating arrangements as we had requested. However, once the room started filling in with people our view to the stage was almost completely obstructed. We spoke to the waitress about the situation and she stated that the show was sold out and that she had expressed our concerns to the manager. The closer it was to show time the more obstructed our view became. We spent $100.00 for the tickets and wanted to see the band in addition to hearing them. There was virtually no crowd control. The manager, Al, did come to our table because I was very dissatisfied and strongly expressed this to our waitress - Melody. He was very rude and flippant to us in how he handled the entire issue. He was less than apologetic about the situation and was very forceful in his demeanor. He was beyond arrogant. The large crowd on the ramp caused a security and fire hazard which will be brought to the attention of the City of Boca Raton for future events. The food was okay. I guess it would be what should be expected at a Bar.

Amazing Party at The Funky Biscuit!!! We hosted my 30th birthday party here with over 70 of our good friends coming out for a great time. The band “Toucan Blue and Friends” rocked all night long and had our party jamming in no time. Moreover, the food spread was delicious and reasonable drink prices was a great social lubricant. All of our guests were very happy and we all stayed out a little too long for a Wednesday night but we were having too much fun! Wanted to extend a special Thank You to Al, Eric, Brittany, and the rest of The Funky Biscuit staff for being awesome hosts. They were super professional, took care all of our guests, made sure everyone was having a good time, and kept the cocktails flowing. Definitely recommend this place to host your next party!

Came to see crazy fingers because my girlfriend loves the greatful dead. Im not much of a bar tavern kind of guy but this place changed my perspective. Super clean and our bartender spencer was awesome and for lack of words " on point", its nice to see happy employees that love there job which is becoming a rarity in south Florida! I will as a foodie say, there chicken & biscuist( with gravy) took my breath away at first sight. I have been looking for the perfect comfort food and damn did they hit the spot. They turned my turn my bad day around. I believe the funky biscuit will be seeing me again and again. Spencer you made my girlfriend the prefect drink ;)

Service was pretty decent, but the music was obscenely loud. Deafeningly loud. The bartender could barely take my order loud. I heard other patrons complaining about this too. On top of that, the Chicken and Biscuits I ordered honestly tasted like it had been cooked last week, frozen, and reheated in a microwave for way too long. I left with a headache and probably tinnitus. I was considering complaining to the management, but I didnt bother as he probably wouldnt be able to hear me anyway.

If youve ever been to a real live music venue...save your self the time and money. This place tells it all in 5 min with the bar tenders. (Who are good, and honest) The acts are ALL late. (2.5 hours late. 40 min between opener and main) The sound system is cheap and bass less...literally. And the crowd is lack luster and entitled. If youre under 45 years old. Find another venue. Manager refused to speak to us cause he was hitting on a minor. Seriously.

Stopped in after dinner from a place nearby and was very impressed. Amazing sound system, stellar musicians, and very nice bar staff. As a professional musician myself, I can say that this is not your normal music venue. Very intimate and down to earth, but it appears the owners/creators of the establishment really know their stuff. Its evident the second you walk in by the presence of a Leslie cabinet. Will be back.

Great venue for live music. Having reserved seats with good food options and better sink options than most luce music venues, the air conditioning actually keeps the establishment cool when full, helpful, attentive staff, this is the bar by which Ill measure all other local venues. Highly recommend.

The Funky Biscuit is the Premier Blues venue in South Florida. Great National acts come through like Dumpstafunk, Leon Russell, NRBQ and more. And they have the best managed night night open-mic that Ive ever been to.
