Im not big into writing bad reviews, but I went here tonight and have no choice. Let me start by staying the restaurant has great decor and a nice atmosphere. I liked the art on the walls. The bands were OK, but I have a jazz background, so I am difficult to impress. My problem was with the service. Having lived/dined in large cities a la NYC, London, Rome, Chicago, etc. I understand kitchens getting busy and backed up, but this was riduculous. Our sever told us she fogot to put all of our food in, so everything came at a different time. Also, their menu doesnt list exactly what you receive (e.g. sweet potato fries come covered with an odd tasting sauce). The straw that broke the camels back was being charged $20 for soda refills. No where on the menu was it listed that patrons are charged per refill for fountain drinks. With all the horrible thnigs that happened, the owner was accomodating and polite and removed the items that we did not eat. I am happy to pay top dollar for good service and food, but this place did not have either. I will not be back.

We were there last Friday nite, very very busy, great bar and music. Had a good time until we were given a bill and told that the table was reserved at 8pm for another party and we had to leave. |The bill that was presented to us was someone elses bill for an amount that we found high considering what we had ordered. We paid the bill, gave a generous tip only to get home and find out that the receipt that we were given was for an reasonable amount - approx 40.00 less than the original bill that we paid and based our tip on. So apparently we were given the wrong bill to pay. We called the next day, last Saturday and they apologized and said that we probably were given someone elses bill to pay by error and they would check the receipts of that nite and get back to us early this week. So far no one has called. Very disappointed and only can advise check your bill before you pay. Hope someone will call us soon.

The entertainment is awesome , but service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.. there are no waiters, its self seated and very dirty(uncleaned tables).It took 30mins to be acknowledge just for drinks, then 1 hour before we got our food, we had to literally chase down the blond twins(owners) to get ANY service. My friend had to go get our own refills and when she did she discovered them taking shots at the bar. We complained to the black haired so called manager and of course she was of no help, she was also drunk as well.This place is like a hole in the wall joint(over crowded) forget fire Marshall safety. The burger sliders were aweful,with a funny smell .....DONT COME HERE, its a waste of time and MONEY...WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD EXPERIENCED EVER....Please BEAWARE of this PLACE.

I have been there a few times. The music is fantastic, the drinks were ok. The first time we went the food was mediocre, the next few times we only drank. Today, we attempted to eat again, the food went from mediocre to HORRIBLE. the waitress literally threw the food on the table and NEVER came back to ask of we needed or wanted anything, even a drink, we had to ask a bartender for additional drinks. The desserts were old and tasted like they had been in the fridge uncovered for a long time. My review go there if you enjoy music, eat somewhere else first, stay away if you are hungry

I was very excited when I read the other reviews as I am a huge fan of live jazz, but when I got to he bar I was extremely disappointed. Rather than jazz, there was a guy doing Motown covers to his laptop karaoke. Mind you, this was a Friday night at about 9:30, so if they have good acts this is when you think youd see them. After he got done, a girl got up and started doing Cher covers, also to music from a laptop. The food was about the level youd expect from a little league concession stand. I will not go back. Again, this place was a huge letdown.

I frequent BJB, love the music,the vibe and the owners. HOWEVER, I agree there are some BAD bartenders and waitresses. The middle aged bartender with dark hair always acts like you are bothering him (more interested in doing his own shots??) and is down right rude OFTEN. Then there is a blond waitress that is ALWAYS overwhelmed so gives bad service, and BLAMES you. The shorter dark haired waitress, attractive with black eyeliner ALWAYS professional and pleasant, no matter how busy. And front door girl a doll, remembers everyone and makes conversation.

Worst place ever. I came here to have a great time with my girls. The service was horrible.. We got our drinks nd a hour lata then we ordered food.. Because the owners were too busy drinking shots at the bar.. After we our food. The food was wrong nd too salty. We waited nd waited for the waitress to order refills. So I got up and went to the bar and surprise, surprise both Twin sisters which are the owners taking shots at the bar again... So digusted.. My friends nd I wud neva Eva come back again.. But the entertainment was nice...

Last night I had the worst experience ever at this place, the bartender (old man with green eyes) was so rude and racist also because I left $ 2 for a tip, and he asks me if the service was bad and i answered yes it was, it was TERRIBLE, because we have been waiting for almost an hour for dinner and when it finally arrives at the table it was a wrong dish! the man star to gesture and yelling "The Latin People always do that". I spent more that 50$ plus $10 for Cover for that terrible experience? i will never go back.

Blue Jeans Blues is my favorite place to be. Id be there every night if I could. I especially enjoy the music and in particular the jazz as it is top notch. The Sunday night Songstress Sundays singers are always wonderful. The bartenders and staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. One can sit inside or out. The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable and the quality is very good as well. One can show up on a Sunday afternoon and hang out until midnight. So come lose the blues at Blue Jeans Blues.

I am a 45 years local resident and I brought my step brother who is Canadian to this bar. We each had a couple of drinks. I went home and the bartender gave my step brother a 300 dollar tab. The tab had multiple drinks which we did not order much less drink. Plus, I never even heard of the drink. What a rip off! Watch out tourists! Pay as you drink dont start a tab bartender buys drink for her friends on your tab so she gets better tips ! Management needs to control their employees from robbing people!

My wife and I walked in for the first time on Wednesday 9/23/15. We sat down, at the bar on the two end bar stools. The barman marched over, didnt even greet us, and barked at my wife in an extremely aggressive manner that someone else was sitting there whilst simultaneously pushing two drinks closer to the bar stools that were originally pushed so far back we didnt even see them. He then ordered and gestured us to move down one place. Needless to say, we just got up and left and will never go back.
