They try and jam way too many people out on such a small course..The management was rude, and very stern in their "rules"...we had 5 players...we were told to split up..but it was causing such a bottleneck, and making everyone wait way too long.. We then grouped up together..and instantly made everyone on the course progress faster..Obviously, our system was working..and the Winter Pines system was not..no one was complaining about us playing together, given the fact that we basically fixed their problem..but they were insisting that we DO NOT play together..so once again, we split up..causing much delay for everyone..They do not take rules, case by case..which they should, because now, they lost many people that will not be back to play again... Its a shame that they are run, but old, stupid people..if they would just listen to their guests, they may have a good shot at being a "good" course.

Unless you are a junior or a complete amateur, do not waste your time with this course. I understand its cheap, but its in horrible condition. The course is only 5400 yards and several holes are under construction so they have you hitting to a make-shift green in the middle of the fairway. Hole 9 is a 385 yard par 5, there are 5 par 3s on the back nine, complete joke of a golf course. Its also crammed into a tiny space and the guy I played with actually hit another golfer, nearly killed the guy! and we almost got hit several times on the next hole. Not to mention the cart fee you pay is to share a cart with someone else. WTF? I dont understand how this place gets such good reviews, its a complete goat track.

A good course at a GREAT price. The condition of this course is always good. I alternate between this course and Wekiva in Longwood and have no favor between the two. As far as the course goes, you cant beat it for the price PRO SHOP GUY IS AWFUL!!!! He refuses to send groups out smaller than four people, even to the extent of holding your group back to do so. It is the single reason I call before arriving to make sure he is not working. My threesome was heldback 25 minutes on a nonbusy day to facilitate a single player who called the pro shop and said he was on his way. Poor course management of a great course.

This course is a real disappointment. I was playing single and went from hole 9 to hole 10 and got yelled at by the GM because I "didnt have a tee time" and was "holding people up." But the course has signs clearly stating let the faster group play through. The guys teeing off at the 10th let me play through them and there was nobody in front of them. I immediately left the course because I felt disrespected. The GM couldve completely handled this differently but instead he decided to be a dick, when all the other golfers were okay with me playing through. Completely disgusted.

The course itself is great. Very well kept for a place you can pay 16 bucks for 18holes and a cart at times. I was surprised, Ive been to a lot of courses here in orlando and this one is by far my favorite. Ill partially agree with the other review saying that they jam way to many people on the course at one time. At times it can get pretty full, but Ive only seen that on weekends (what do you expect from such a cheap, good place?). Any time during the week is great to go.

This is a beautiful place to go and relax, nothing beats hitting a ball with a stick. Both the staff and people on the green were some of the coolest people Ive met, John and Josh hope to play with you guys again soon. By the way, when I went it wasnt crowded, so just go on a late afternoon after the afternoon rains role through and you practically get the place all to yourselves

While this course is far from a championship layout it is in very good condition, the staff and patrons are super-friendly and you wont break the bank at the restaurant making the turn. Its a GREAT value and convenient to my residence. If you want to play a championship course and spend 3 - 4x on greens fees and drinks this isnt the place for you. Playaway.

I for one have had no trouble with this golf course ever. It is a very nice course and they are consistently adding and repairing things to keep it nice. They do repairs on the greens etc in the summer before the snowbirds come back, which is a perfect time to do so. I have never had any problem with this course and for the location, I love it!

Love this golf course. It is extremely inexpensive ($24 at most expensive time) and is in great shape. Range balls, beers, and green fees all very reasonable ($4, $2.50, $20 respectively). Management is extremely nice and the only problem is on the weekend, it gets very busy because of the "bang for the buck" attraction.

This course is tucked away in a local neighborhood and while the course is in good shape there are problems. The major problem I would say is that the pace of play is very slow. They are not very strict on the dress code which might a plus for some people. The pace of play is something that will keep me from coming back.

Let it be known that im a novice player at best, last time that i have played 18 was in 1997. Ouch! But if i can post a birdie on the this beautiful course and only 3 putted once the whole course, Winter Pines should not be overlooked. After playing, im considering becoming a member! This course was well worth the wait.

I love Winter Park Pines. Yes it is short, but sassy and challenging. I like the fact that it is always improving, be it new greens, additional trees, new cart paths or something new on the snack bar menue. By the way the chow is great. I love the price of the green fees and range balls, best deal in town.

In town for a conference and played this super-fun course, today! Had a great time! Staff was very friendly and the course is beautiful and comfortable. There are a bunch of par 3s on the back 9, but they are generally challenging and fun. Great course at a great price. I hope to be back.

Winter Pines has been around for a long time, with good reason. The course is fun to play, constantly being improved and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The groundskeepers are some of the hardest working folks Ive ever known. Finally, the prices are reasonable.

Not as long as other courses, but its a beautiful course and very well maintained. This course is in better shape than other courses costing much more. The staff is great and its a wonderful local course thats fun to play and reasonably priced. Great place!

Do not let the above 4 star rating fool you. This is a 2 star course that you can play at a good rate. The course is in middle to below average shape and is very crowded. If you want a below average 18 hole course for a cheap price, this is for you.

Very friendly staff, fair rates, and a beauty of a little course. Not very long, but fun. They have a kick ass twilight rate, range, and dedicated putting and chipping greens. Everything you need in a small friendly atmosphere.
