I visited this past weekend and there unfortunately was more bad than good in my opinion. The good: there was alot of variety of animals, things you wouldnt see in the average pet store. Large boas, a pine snake, what appeared to be a rhino iguana (but I could be wrong). It was cool to see the different animals. The bad: hardly anything was labeled with prices gender or what the creature actually was. Presentation of animals was poor and the health of some animals appeared poor. One particular lizard with a ripped out back made me upset and I understand animals can get sick or injured at the store, but an animal that injured should be placed in quarentine. I had heard many good things in the past years but left quite disappointed. I do not believe I will be returning.

I have been here only a handful of times and every time I visit, I always learn something new. I absolutely love the fact that it really isnt only a pet store but somewhere you can go to see a wide variety of different reptiles. There is never any pressure to purchase anything unlike some other pet stores I have been to. You can tell the owner truly cares for his animals and that he wants to sell to people who actually care. He is not in the business for money. He sexes for free, and is always the go to guy when ever something seems wrong with one of our reptiles. His business practices and work ethic are absolutely anazing. I would recommend Harris in Wonderland to any reptile owner, beginner or expert.

I previously made a post of my initial impression of this store giving it two stars. However, since then the store owner has reached out and has given a detailed description of where I thought the store was falling short. He has displayed his genuine understanding of herpetoculture and his reptile husbandry. Since then, I have also returned to the store and have noticed evidence supporting his claims.

I only stopped by briefly, but the condition of the freshwater aquatic section was horrifying. Fish with deformed spines, algae coated tanks, pest snails on plants, no filters on some tanks, tanks on the floor. Many of the fish had damaged fins as well. Fish were clearly gasping with inflamed gills.

They have been amazing with clearing the path to owning our beautiful Bearded Dragon which we purchased from them. They have helped us balance their diet, get the right cage temperature and substrate for him or her. Mango is thriving and my daughter and I couldnt be more thrilled.

Earlier had written: Never got in the door. Hours say 730-430 except Monday. When I arrived at 230 on Tuesday (not holiday) store was closed. Also, phone number posted does not connect. Will not return. I apologize for my error.

Very knowledgeable staff and a huge selection of reptiles, fish, and even a tortoise! The animals are very well cared for and the establishment and enclosures are very clean.
