venden carisimo y uno de ellos se cre gue me cojio de pendejo pero no vuelvo a conpral ahy disengue cualguier cosa gue le pase a los peses gue compres los lleves y despues de asrle la prueva de agua y todo salir vien medijo gue me darian uno y uno tenia gue pagarlo y melos cobro los dos. Aquatic Wildlife is the premier destination for hobbyists. Dedicated to fish, they always have a dazzling array of fish, inverts and plants on hand. Whats more, if you want something they dont have they will get it for you!Derek and Sean are total fish geeks and extremely knowledgeable about the hobby. They strive to get the right product with the right customer. They want you to have success with your tank so you and enjoy your hobby the way they enjoy it. You will always leave the store knowing you got what you needed nothing more, no extra items to pad the bill. they stand behing their producta and if equipment goes bad they will either replace it directly or work on your behalf to get the manufacturer to do so. sure, yo may pay a little more, but you can purchase with confidence. It is definitely worth the extra drive from west Hartford.

Drove from West Haven to check it out because we heard about the freshwater shrimp selection and after my local store sold me RO water with a TDS of 70.... basically Tap water. The owner and employee were extremely helpful. Checked out my water sample and gave me great advice. When I told them I thought my water test kit was bad because it had completely different results then the one they used the owner advised it was probably old and gave me a new kit at a huge discount to help me out! Also ended up buying tons of driftwood and He gave me a Godfather Price (A Price I could not refuse) on my own personal RO unit to save me money on my water changes! Great place to shop. I hope they open a branch closer to me but until then I will gladly make the trip out there just for the personal experience and interest they had in my hobby!

I really enjoyed this store! It is well stocked with everything I needed and the customer service was awesome! Its often difficult to find people who wont try to sell you everything and squeeze you for your every penny, but the employees here were really honest about what I needed for my 10 gallon fish tank and didnt over sell me on anything. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase any more than what I actually needed and they went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for. Also, the fish in the store all looked healthy and well taken care of. I cant stomach pet stores that dont care well for their animals. Definitely will be returning.

I am a local Manchester, CT business owner. I was referred to Aquatic Wildlife by an employee of ours. I cant rave enough about this store. Derrick, the owner, puts his heart and soul into what he does. He makes the hobby fun and educational. We had a problem with the filter we bought, brought it back without the box and he gave us a different one, no questions asked. I highly recommend Aquatic Wildlife if you are interested in buying or servicing an acquarium. My kids are 5 and 6 years old and cant wait for each trip we take to the store to get more fish!

Overpriced 10-20$ on almost everything somethings even more, must be careful with this place the tanks are set up on the same filtration system, one sick fish means wherever that fish is connect in the line the chance of that sickness will go to all tanks connected to that one fish, more than half the fish are always dis colored or have ich..... If you need a quick stop for equipment because your in a bind because something broke in your tank sure go there not much can go wrong with equipment shipped there, but other than that fish (absolutely not).

This is the best aquarium supply store in the area, by far. The owner is extremely knowledgable and doesnt try to sell you what you dont need. If you have a question, he can answer it. All the tanks in the shop are well kept, there is almost never any dead or sick looking fish in the tanks. The prices are fair, and the specials are good. He has mostly everything you could need for your tanks! This place is in a good location, but the parking is a little tight on the weekends. I really recommend this store.

I took a road trip and visited 3 different stores that sell fish within about a 5 mile radius. Aquatic Wildlife Co is head and shoulders above the others. Yes the filtration is all connected but the tanks look fantastic and the fish are healthy. The selection was A+ as these guys have species no-one else seems to carry. All of the staff are friendly and pleasant. Prices are on par with competition. Despite being a 30+ mile trip, Ill be sure to come here again, and bring a friend as well.

If you like sick and dead fish, this place is for you! I created a google account just to write a review for this place. Whenever you walk in, you cant go three tanks without finding something dead. They are way overpriced. They will do whatever they can to sell stuff to you, I know a thing or two about fish and have asked them questions I knew the answer to just to see what they would say. Obviously they just lie trying to make the sale. Dont even get me started on that owner...

A lot of items and fish are overpriced, I can find most products cheaper online, but there is no denying that they do have unique specimens in their shop that would be difficult to find elsewhere. Staff is always knowledgeable and helpful, even when I call with quick questions. Every specimen Ive bought from here has been top notch and remain alive. Have been a regular here for a few years now, and as an avid aquarist it is always a great experience.

This is a decent fish store, but thats all. Went here for years, but recently found other nearby stores with much better selection and prices(try Puppy Center in West Hartford). The main problem with Aquatic Wildlife is the owner: he is really pushy. Its the kind of place you are made to feel bad if you are just looking around and walk out without buying anything- all about the money.

Great local fish store. Ive been dealing with them for over three years. Prices are very good, they usually will special order if you want something specific, and there is a great variety of both saltwater and freshwater fish that change on a weekly basis with new incoming livestock. I know the owner and he is a great guy that cares both about the hobby and his customers.

Fantastic customer service, everyone knows a ton about their livestock and hardware. Excellent (and healthy) selection of common, uncommon, and rare fresh and saltwater fish/inverts. Lots of oddballs! Huge selection of high end tanks, lights, filters, etc. Ive always been 100% satisfied with my purchases, and make a point to take a trip there every week.
