The last time I went to this place was a while ago, and it proved to be rather an expensive endeavor. First off, one of the staff didnt understand what was happening enough to set three people up with a lane to do some open bowling on a Saturday night, but a slightly more competent staffer came to the rescue and got us set up with a lane...that broke down during the second frame of our game. We were then moved to another lane which made it all of four frames! Lane number three hung tough and we bowled our three games and, when I was going to change my shoes I noticed that someone had STOLEN my street shoes! (Yes, they did make it to the third lane with all of the rest of our stuff but they were gone when we were done.) The staff had a "too bad, so sad" attitude, which was somewhat off-putting, but at least I was able to wear my own bowling shoes out. The shoes that got ganked werent new and were in not the best of shape, but hopefully someone got some use out of them. I first didnt know whether to be angry or amused with the situation but I certainly was annoyed with how little the staff seemed to care. I hope they have new people working there!

Saw the ad for $3 shoes and bowling special... thought it would be a great and cheap family fun night for myself, my husband and my 6 year old. After only 2 games I walked out spending $60 bucks... Was told it was $3 per person per game plus $3 for shoes for each game played. That still didnt add up to $45... I try to avoid confrontation. Especially after seeing how the bartender came off a bit racist after taking my drink order last even though I was the first person at the bar... and the only black person. Then asking for my ID in a rude manner as soon as I asked for a Margarita, I didnt event finish saying the drink I wanted before she shouted out, "Ill need your ID first!" Horrible experience! So $15 bucks on my Margarita and my husbands beer... $45 on bowling 2 games for 3 people... Wish I would have took my child to see Monster Trucks instead.... under $60 Im sure!

My husband and I live real close and love coming here, but whereas a lot of bowling alleys will leave 4-6 lanes open for non-league bowlers, Monaco Lanes does not so most nights its not even worth trying to get in because the leagues take up every single one of the FORTY lanes. 2 buck Tuesday is a joke because the league players just stay and continue using the lanes after league play so its really only 2 buck Tuesday for league members. Very, very elitist if you ask me. One star rating for those facts, but we do still very much enjoy bowling here and can usually get in late morning on Saturdays. Word to the wise though, dont ever open a tab at the bar because usually the bartender disappears right when you want to close your tab and leave, thats if you can even find the bartender to get a drink and open a tab in the first place.

I and my family (7 of us) went there at night and it was the first time for some of us to play bowling. The man taking care of us was very cold and rude and, when one of us asked him if renting shoes is mandatory, he answered that yes and "I will kick you out of the building if you do not want shoes", while he could just say yes and we would rent the shoes. After seeing his behavior, we asked him if he talks to everybody like that and he said yes! We asked to talk to the owner of tge facility and he said I am the owner... Because of his rudeneas we left the place and went to a much better place in Lakewood. Even the price was not fair and you can find cheaper places with similar quality in the neighborhood.

My wife and I came bowling and had our 1 1/2 yr old son with us and from past bowling experience at other locations we found our son lights up when rolling the ball down the child assistance ramp. I asked for one so he could take a couple shots for me but was informed "There are no freebies and that there is nothing they can do about it". I replied well its not like his name is on the screen he would just be taking a shot or two with my assistance and was answered with its corporate policy. Customer service was poor with disgruntled replies as if they could care less. Was very unpleasant experience.

New giant TV screens above the pins make it impossible to concentrate on bowling. Then they turn the lights out, besides! Couldnt see the arrows and the lane had flickering lights on it from the TVs. I struggled thru 4 frames and walked out. If you enjoy bowling and are serious about improving your game, DO NOT go here on the weekends, as it will be dark & distracting! Whatever happened to real, genuine bowling? What does TV have to do with bowling?? Please go back to the way it was!!

Friendly staff. Great music. TV projectors are fun for sports games. League pricing is just $2.35/game and free shoes. Plus 2 free games a week. If you arent in one it can be expensive. Leagues are the way to go. The lanes are oiled once to twice a day. Bathrooms clean. Floors are clean. Ball damage is low and if it happens they will fix it or replace it at no cost. Also TenBack pro shop has one of the best coaches in the state Shawn Lee. Ball, bag, and shoes cost only $129

Lots of Menu choices... We LOVED the PIZZA, it was the best we have ever had!! It had lots of cheese and pep. The nachos were very well portioned for the price, they had cheese Sauce on them the ingredients were fresh tasting! Also the bacon cheese fries were very tasty, even though the grill closes at 10:30 they still cooked us fresh bacon for our fries very good customer service!! Good Job AMC we were very pleased to bring our family here for a late night dinner ;)

My friends and I used to go bowling her every Thursday for the $1 bowling. They play music videos on a projector and screen. The lights are on so you cant even see what is on the screen! The food is tasty. They just changed their pricing system so each person has to pay $5 as a "cover charge," $1 for shoes and $1 per game. My husband and have our own shoes so now instead of a $6 night (3 games for both of us) out it has become a $16 date! Too expensive.

Im a regular bowler at Monaco. They do a great job. It is always very clean. One of the best mechanics in Denver. Good food. Really cant think of any shortcomings. But, what makes Monaco truly special is the Pro Shop within the facility. Tenback Bowling Outfitters, owned by Shawn Lee is the "bomb". He and his professional staff are there to help bowlers from the beginner level to the professional level with all of their needs. Check them out

Bar was over priced, bartender didnt even know how to make a White Russian, a popular bowling beverage and they ran out of blue moon, at 9 pm on a Friday.... waited for 1.5 hours for staff to seat us while half the place was empty and lanes were open. Over priced. 3 stars
