Okay this theater is absolutely horrible when you compare it to the big movie theaters of today at most other places. That being said read on. Alright even though this theater is horrible it does have plus parts to it but first off the chairs are absolutely horrible old style tight I mean come on these chairs are really small! Cinema 6? There is only for theaters in here! The screen is very dim not very bright at all just horrible theater. Okay so I have talked about the bad part now let me talk about the good part. Unlike the nicer theaters up today you will find at this theater is usually a lot cheaper in price compared to some of the other bigger theaters. I have not tried the concession stand yet but I did look at their prices! And even though theyre way overpriced for what you get there still an outrageous deal compared to the normal theaters up today. That along with hey there is not any other choice really around the area I have to say this place deserves a three-star as I have given it. it definitely is not the best theater but if you live in the area and dont want to travel all the way to the Palm Springs area just to catch a movie this place is your best bet.

I went here about 4 months ago for the first time and it was awful. I saw Catching Fire and we saw on a screen on the right side of the theatre. The bottom half of the screen was out of focus and I could barely tell what was going on in the movie. To pay $18 for two people to see a blurry, out of focus movie was outrageous. The food tasted stale as well...dont buy any food if you go here. Bring gum or water... Anyways! I just went back to see Neighbors and luckily they put us in the left side. The screens are much better on the left, but...Im being generous giving this place 4 stars. First of all, theres only 4 screens even though its called Cinema 6. Second, the bathrooms smell like unwashed urinals. It coats the back of your tongue with nasty. Third, the price is just ridiculous for the value. The screens are at an awkward angle because the floor is mostly flat, so youll be craning your head to see past everyone elses head and the screen itself isnt really big enough to fill your entire field of vision like most theatres these days, so youre constantly aware that youre in a crowded theatre instead of feeling immersed in the movie. So....consider this 3.5/5 stars.

If you love small town service and prices this is your theatre. They really care about your experience. There popcorn is awesome. I saw someone complain movie was out of focus? Did you tell them? They are so service oriented that I am surprised by this comment. I love my local Cinema 6. I have never had one bad movie experience there. I am from San Diego, Los Angeles and SF and I can tell you I have had many bad experiences with my movie experience from noisy patrons, to lousy food, to horrible seating. Like I said if you want a small town experience for your movie this is your place.

Great little theather. Seating is stadium not flat like others say so seating great. A/c was excellent. No tourist. Popcorn is excellent they use real butter. Screen and sound perfect and clear. Just watched the movie Dark Night 130 pm. All respectable adults no cell phones. Place is very very clean employees very nice and friendly.. I will be back.. tickets only $7.00 for the 130 showing. Very nice. Restrooms also very clean well stocked. Great afternoon. I live down in the palm springs area...this was a nice break away from the crowds and tourist. Go and enjoy !!

When we arrived on September 9 for the 1:30 PM showing of IT there was no one at the ticket booth and we missed our chance to buy soda and popcorn while waiting for an attendant. The theater was overbooked and my husband and I did not get to sit together. The many in front of me was incredible drunk. He shouted obscenities and threw popcorn at the screen. I was surprised there wasnt a theater attendant to monitor patron activity and remove him. Overall, disappointed with my first experience there. I plan on driving down the hill from now on.

There is an order that has been in this theater for years, it seems to be strongest in room 3. Smells like the septic system or cesspool needs service. Too bad because this is the only theater in the Morongo basin, the staff seems friendly. I havent tried the food so cant comment on that ,the seating is not the most comfortable but tolerable and from what I can see in the dark the theater seems clean. I commented on the smell often but the staff always says they dont know anything about it but will tell management, yet it still stinks!!!

Real Butter! Where can you get real butter anymore? Be grateful you did not live here when it was only 2 screens. People like this place because of Real Butter and the old town feel. It is memories for people who have lived here for many years. Go Back to Orange County or drive down the hill to get your Big City experience, we do not want your " tear it down and replace it " attitudes. That is why we choose to live in this place.

Unless you have no other option, dont go to this theater. The seats are barely elevated so youre screwed if anyone tall sits in front of you. The concessions offer the most limited selection Ive seen at a theater. During the last movie I saw there, they didnt dim the lights until a few minutes into the movie itself, not just the trailers. It should really be a last resort.

Entrance for Handicap wheelchair users is bad! ....Accident waiting to happen! Have had 2 near misses... ....almost broke my foot last time because theres no ramp type access & got pitched forward and barely missed being bolted out of the wheelchair fully. Sad situation for wheelchair users. The door on other side would possibly work best but is blocked for use.

Took my children to see D3, the woman at the snack bar, didnt greet us, didnt smile, and had a poor disposition. The second time I went to the snack bar to get a refill, a diffrent girl and now a guy were there, they appeared to be more concerned with their cell phones than helping me. Besides the employees, we had a good time.

Our local theatre, often has odors lingering. Website not always updated quickly. Selection often dated. Seats OK. AV quality good but not great. We keep going there, dealing with the noted limitations, as it is often not worth the 40+ minute drive to Palm Springs and beyond for nicer alternatives.

Its not awful. But for being a short person it really sucks having someone tall sitting directly in front of you... the seats are all level with one another and they are super uncomfortable. Needs to be demolished and rebuilt!!! Sorry Id rather go down the hill. At least I can see the screen...

I Love this place! The friendliest folks around run it and now they have the new HD Christie Projection that makes 3D jump out at you. Im a director that has lived in Hollywood most of my life and this little theatre proves that bigger aint better. (Google user should be called Google Loser)
