Opened in 1940 & designed for the Redwood Theaters chain, a clone to these moviehouses- Park in Lafayette; Lark in Larkspur; & Midtown (closed), Bridge, & Vogue in S.F. Remodeled from one to three screens for 1997, with its stylish wall murals updated. Theatre no longer houses the former film distribution company that it did in its early days. One of only two daily moviehouses remaining in Mendocino County. Reasonable prices and set in a charming walkable downtown.

Best theater (3D theater part anyway) that I have been to especially for the price. The fact that I can take my wife to see a 3D movie, get snacks and a drink and not go bankrupt is fantastic. Do not let the early 90s website fool you, they are legit. The website is a joke, but the theater is not.

Whenever I walk up to the counter to get popcorn & drinks, they usually have my order ready. That just goes to show how attentive and service conscious they are. The people are friendly, courteous, making your movie going experience that much more enjoyable.

Good family setting and good services i always take family there and my infant baby no complaints of course I dont recommend taking.babies but i havent had problems. Prices are a little high but its expected. Nice cozy setting n seats. I like this theatre!

Super cool! The staff here are really great and respectable! Lovely people! Plus one of the girls liked my Ewoking Dead shirt, so she definitely gets an A+ from me. All around nice theater for a small town.

Nice quiet theatre, good concessions prices and Friendly staff. My only complaint is that the vintage red velvet seats smell, which sucks because the seats are fairly comfortable and recline.

I love this place with 5 dollar tues and senior discount. they have first run movies. if there is a negative it would be that it is very cold in there . I usually bring a blanket for my legs.

This may seem a little biased because I work there, but it is the cheapest theater in Mendocino County and offers a lot of things that the bigger theaters dont like free seasoning!

Cheap prices. Huge fluffy pop corn. Large selection of pop corntoppings including nutritional yeast. But beware of the occasional mistreatment by the younger employees.
