You either stand downstairs (recommended and if you do I would move my review from hate to dislike) or sit in the balcony where the seats that arent run down are broken. More than one person went right down to the floor, and the floor and the venue else where is simply filthy. They have set a motley collection of old office chairs around tho. Balcony is very dark and hard to see your way around tho. Went to the rest room upon arrival and it was already horrid. Yucky to infinity. Easy parking tho! Added: I have been in most of the seedy bar venues in San Francisco and this was much, much worse.

The Phoenix has always been a beacon of inclusion in a vast suburban landscape that is purportedly built around children and youth, but offers little in the way of inclusive, meaningful, high-quality opportunities and events for young people. The Phoenix is relevant, real, and vibrant -- and for generations of Sonoma County youth it has offered opportunities to engage the arts, achieve their early performances and organized shows, and emerge as stakeholders in a culture that is often blind to the creative and cultural potential of young people.

The Phoenix Theater is a great spot of people of all ages to go see their favorite bands and other live entertainment. I am grateful places like this are still around, and younger people are able to experience music at any age

I love The Phoenix Theater seen a lot of great concerts here and enjoy each and every time that I come to see a show theres always something going on at the Phoenix Tom a wonderful owner of the Phoenix and does his job well

This place is home to many of Petalumas confused, spoiled or underprivileged angsty teens. It has good music and cool public art. The market next door is good. Great bands play here. They have wrestling too.

Great place for live shows! Been going here for almost 15 years. One of the coolest and truly unique venue ever. First show I ever played was the main stage. My best memories are here. Many more to come!

The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma is such a wonderful resource for the community. They offer an all-ages venue for folks who enjoy up-and-coming bands in the area. Tom Gaffney is a local treasure.

Reminds me of the Portland all ages venues of my youth. Big dilapidated space, skate ramps, free arcade games, crummy floor, great vibes. Will keep an eye out for more shows here in the future.

Looks like kids smoke pot in there but the old man that keeps that place wont deal with it. He will throw u out for sexual and drugs. Clean teen center. Skate ramps inside. Arcade games
