This place is just awesome. Its right next to the post office so I just stopped for a look. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed anything in particular. I just said I was going to look around and the owner welcomed me to do so. There was not a single fish that was dead in any tank they had. Yes, I look for things like that. :] The fish prices are comparable/cheaper than the big chain pet stores, and of course they have many fish those stores dont have. The owner told me to have a look at his supplies and how he had good deals. Man, I almost bought something I didnt need just because it was so cheap (a large heater for 12 dollars). Everything is really cheaper than anywhere else I have been. All the fish/turtle food is at least a couple dollars cheaper than the big name stores and they even carry the stuff that I can only buy (at an affordable price) online from ebay. Its like buying stuff cheap on ebay without the shipping costs. Im done buying fish food from big chain stores when I go to get dogfood. I live 20-30 minutes from this store and I am returning here for sure. They welcome you and you save money. Nothing more I can ask for as a customer. By the way, not once was I pressured to buy anything. Truly 5 stars.

The couple there are very nice! We called them at about 5:30 (they close at 6 on Sundays) asking about a specific tank size, and the owner said he will try to stay open for us if we can get there fast enough. We got there at about 5:45, and the second we stepped in, we were immediately directed to a couple of tanks that he thought would work out for our situation, and he definitely kept our turtle in mind. The price of the tank was much cheaper than any other tank that size that we saw elsewhere. We talked it over, then bought it and he pointed out some bottles of solution that we could buy to even out the water balance in our tank. We immediately bought one because the price was much cheaper than the ones we saw at Petco/Petsmart. They have a wide variety of tanks, fish, filters, accessories, heaters, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!! OH! Also, my fiance asked where a good asian restaurant was, and the guy was suprised that we liked asian food. It was kind of funny actually. But anyways, he recommended an AMAZING restaurant called Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant, just down the street. But thats a different review ;-) Great advice, great prices, great help, GREAT PLACE!!!!

This place is the greatest! I have been really into freshwater exotic, and predator type fish for about 8 years and I cant believe I only just now found this place by doing a random search on Google! It has the best selection of these types of fish and the lowest prices I have ever seen! The tanks are super clean and the fish are super healthy, you can tell the owner really takes pride in what he dose! The owner (Allen) who gos by the name Dragon has over 42 years of experience and is very knowledgeable, he gave me the best and most important advice about acclimating new fish I have ever been given! I bought 7 fish because the prices were so good! You have to check this place out!

This is the best place overall that Ive been to, and Ive been to at least 25 places in or around san fernando Valley. The owner has been in this business for over 40 years and takes pride in what he does. His selection of freshwater fish is amazing. He has Violet gobys(Dragon fish), columbian sharks, needlenose gars, bichirs, various cichlids, crabs and lobsters, tanks, decor, food. Everything is waaaaay cheaper than elsewhere. Some fish are 1/5th of their price in similar stores. I go to the store at least twice a week. Hes that good and friendly!!

Bought a fish tank at Marks supply on Ventura Blvd for around $300. Found the same one here for about $200. Fish food is cheaper than Petco--the big container was about $4 cheaper. EVERYTHING is cheaper. Store looks bad on the outside and isnt much more impressive on the inside. But the fish are still alive many months later, the prices are great, and the old man and old woman who work there are really sweet. Awesome place!
