This is an amazing waterhole located in California. It is definitely a popular spot for cliff jumping and one of the safer places Ive been to as the main cliff is a ledge that sticks out so there are no rocks from the cliff jutting out that you may hit on your way down. It is a bit high up though (~25ft?) but worth the adrenaline rush if youre in to that sort of thing and the water (as of now) is certainly deep enough that you will not hit the bottom. If not, you can still enjoy yourself sitting in the countless shady spots that the surrounding trees provide enjoying the cool water of the waterhole or walking along the rocks in the connected creek. There is a small waterfall that you can swim behind, which I do recommend. Overall, this is a really nice place to enjoy that is easily accessible. It is a less than 3 minute walk from the parking lot to the waterhole and there are bathrooms located in the parking lot as well.

The pools themselves are a 5/5, very beautiful and would be a nice way to spend the day. Unfortunately the people here completely ruin it. Blasting ranchero music, shouting, drinking cases of beer out of the trunk, smoking weed, disregarding any parking directions, letting small dogs run loose, letting their pit bulls and German Shepards just bark at each other unchecked, throwing fishing lines into the general swimming areas... You get the idea. This wasn’t just a matter of one large rowdy group. This was pretty much everyone there with a few exceptions. They need a park ranger presence here to enforce rules otherwise it’s a beautiful spot ruined by people using it as a party spot with no consideration for the people around them.

Came here for a family day that turned into a tragedy. This place is beautiful but VERY DANGEROUS. They NEED to get some kind of call box or landline here. Medical responders took hours to get here. No cell phone reception on any networks here. Not a place for children. I will not return until there is some kind of service.

I found this place by accident on my way home from Yosemite with the family. Everything about this place is perfect. Not much parking but its definitely worth the walk. The main cliff dont look that high from the bottom but its at least 25 ft. Took me an hour to get the the guys to jump but did it. Cant wait to go back

Photogenic waterhole but I would be careful going in. There was many posted warning signs about possibly getting sick. As well as dangerous cliff jumping.

Have a plan for exiting pools before you enter them. The pools further downstream can be extremely difficult or impossible to exit.

Ive gone here for the past ten years. One of my summer getaways. A great place to have adult fun. Very dangerous dont bring kids.

Fun cliff jumping, or just a great place to watch. Low key, easy walk from parking.
