Nice little aquarium that features local sea life. The main attractions are the shark tanks (Leopard, horn, rays), a couple octopus tanks, a flatfish tank, kelp life tanks, and a jellyfish lifecycle series of tanks. There are also some tide-pool touch tanks; they also let you touch the Swell Sharks. I highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area.
Super fun, small aquarium. Touch tanks are fun. There is a touch tank for swell sharks also. They feed the octopus at 2pm. One of the attendants knows sign language which was very helpful for the 2 hearing impaired visitors. She did a great job. Very interesting horseshoe crabs were in a tank with rays, sharks and a moray eel. Admission is $8.00.
Two room aquarium with 11 exhibits that showcase the native species on the central coast. They have a feeding every couple of hours, very informative. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Exceptionally quaint and pretty little Beach town. The locals are friendly and happy for you to be there. Sometimes during the season it is quite crowded but usually its not too bad.
This is a small aquarium near the park in downtown Avila Beach. It costs money to get in but it all goes to supporting this non profit and their amazing programs.
Love bringing my son here, have a year pass. From the touching exhibits to just watching baby jellyfish swim around he is always intrigued.
Cute fun local place for the kids to see. Its not free but its a non profit and the money helps make things better. Highly recommend it.
We never knew I was aquarium in tell we stop in the park it looks nice but it was closed i hope next time we have more time

What a surprise. Knowledgeable docents, personal service. Low prices also.
Nice. Was a little disappointed in admission price with the size though.
Dont waste your money going there unless you wanna touch baby sharks.
Only open to the public on weekends and has no parking of their own.
The place is closed until February 10th, 2017 due to renovation.
Small but awesome! Their summer camps are the best!
