These guys are great. If you have any marine aquarium questions or concerns, visit them. They wont tell you information unless it will help you and your tank, and they are honest when they dont know. Their selection is the highest quality offered at fair market prices. If they dont have it, they will order it, and you can get it in a week. They stand behind their livestock, even when their wholesalers wont. I would recommend this shop over most others, from Huntington Beach through SD county, especially if you purchase reef water. First came to these guys to order some fish after having bad service at other local stores. The fish I received were healthy, beautiful, and active...I couldnt asked for a better selection. After my first perchase I came back to them when it was time for an upgrade to a larger aquarium, I got excellent pricing and installation! Ill be going back soon as aquarium enthusiast we have decided to go ahead with a built in, Im excited after seeing the portfolio these guys have! Will update again after the build!

I have been a big fan of Dan and Shipwreck Cove since before they moved to el Camino. The new store is amazing! He has so many awesome corals. When I first met Dan I was a novice. Hes helped me become more knowledgeable and now I can finally appreciate how incredible his selection has become. What I like best is that he gives you an honest answer about compatibility of different species and not just trying to make a buck. Keep up the great work!!

I just went in recently (June 2015) and they had a killer selection of SPS coral and great prices on some Euphyllia frags...the owner is a super nice guy and very helpful! Very cool store!!

Decent selection of corals. Not much in the live fish Dept though. The kid working there was very knowledgeable.
