First things first. I am not an avid golfer. I do it as a hobby, and so my opinion isnt from a place where I am nitpicking because Ive played the best courses. In fact, these types of public courses are my favorite, so this review is as honest as I can get. The customer service was poor. I booked a tee time from their website at 11:15am. By the time I arrived at the pro shop, it was just after 11:15 (my mistake, and I owned up to that). The cashier had no record of my reservation, kept perseverating that I was passed my tee time (which I owned up to) and then was very stand-offish about getting me into a new tee time. I got a new tee time, and was sent outside to start. 25 minutes later, I was finally teeing off. The course is right in the flight path to SFO, and literally right next door to a gun range. Peace and quiet while trying to work on my game was not what I got. What made things worse was the constant barrage of lawnmowers that kept getting in our line of play. It was noisy, and frankly, still full of debris on the course. The course itself is fine. No real challenging holes, save for some par 4s that should be par 5s but thats not really an issue for me. The greens fees are reasonable, but it costs almost as much as the greens fee to rent an electric cart. For your money, and your time, and your sense of sanity being next to a gun range where a constant barrage of gunshots is enough to drive you insane while trying to swing a golf club, Id go elsewhere. And I will.

I had about 6 hours to kill before an evening flight out of SFO so I played here. If youre looking for value-golf its a decent course. Its beside the ocean but youd never know it; all you see is power lines and interstate. The pace was slow but not terrible. Course plays very easy except for the strong wind from the North. Good time-killer if you just want to hit some balls around before a flight, but otherwise find a different course.

Not the best but better than most. For Residents we get a break so it might be pricey for non-residents, walking. Greens are in great shape, even when punched. Fairways could be better but not too bad considering, its coming off many years of drought. Weekend crew are friendly w/ atmosphere like "Cheers ", everybody knows your name and maybe your game. Nice restaurant. Going thru changes for the better. Woo-hoo.

Solid track. You can spray the ball and still find it, usually. It gets crazy windy in the afternoons and the holes either play into the wind or downwind. No in between. Greens are super bumpy. Saving grace is it seems to play fast the last couple of times so at least no long rounds. Not a bad place to play golf but if you can find something different for similar cost maybe go there.

Nice facility especially considering it is open to public. Course is flat and open. Maintained well. Will often go to clubhouse for lunch or beers. Good selection of beers. Food and service both above average. Prices are reasonable. Nice view of course while dining. Have friends who enjoy their special occasion brunches on holidays including Mothers Day.

Really nice course if youre visiting, close by to hotel areas, cheap rates. Nice driving range facilities and welcoming staff, my only gripe was that no marshall was checking the pace, my round couldve been easily under 4 hours but turned into 5.

Great golf course and great people in the pro shop and restaurant. Only problem is that the greens can sometimes be in poor condition. Very good putting green and chipping greens.

In good shape for a muni. Reasonable greens fees. Like all munis, its slammed on weekends. Players seem to be more polite than at many public courses.

My dad and I always go here when he visits us. Nice, not so strict atmosphere. We like the "not so crazy slop" course. We are amateurs.

Horrible experience, rude staff, extremely slow pace of play even on a weekday. Consider playing somewhere else.

It seems to be a pretty fun course kind of short but fairways and greens are in good shape.

I like the par five holes that you can easily reach in two. Go for the eagle.
