Its only so easy to keep up with a massive set of fields in 115 degree weather so it really brings some sun damage and heat damage down on everything. That said there isnt a whole lot of ways to cool off except for some relatively sparse shade. There are a couple of playground areas though (unshaded, just in case you like heat blisters from grabbing or sitting on the play equipment). There are a couple of baseball diamonds and one soccer field with no netting behind the community center. There is also a community pool and skate park nearby for attractions. Note that its also next to the high school on 40th Street so keep in mind the teenagers rolling through in the afternoon.

Big park several playgrounds different sizes for all ages. A wonderful dog park with several areas two separate small dogs large dogs. Seems to be a very popular place, great for birthday parties family gatherings or just to take the kids out to play for the day. Or even just the dogs. Extremely well maintained, the only thing I think they could improve on is the bathroom. The bathrooms felt like we were more out in the woods maybe at a lake not something you typically find at a park.

The Paradise Valley Park is overall quite nice. I stopped with my dog to enjoy the dog park and was disappointed in the lack of lighting. Its 8pm now so rather dark. The benches and picnic tables are very nice, as are the trees. I did not expect to need a flashlight to find my way off the sidewalk. I am still.not 100% from my surgery a few years ago and am afraid of falling.

PV Park has a dog oark, baseball fields, swimming pool, skate park...and more. Its pretty big place. At the northern end of the park is a business that has batting cages, putt putt golf, arcade games, roller hockey... Plus there is a bike path that runs north South along the western edge of the park ...great place

Very awesome park, and neighborly park. The park is frequented by hundreds of visitors throughout the week, and contains several fields, a basketball court, a police station, a public bathroom, several picnic areas, and barbeque pits, as well as some areas for the kids to play together. I loved visiting this park.

Visited the Pool for Fathers Day! A load of fun! They have a beach entry pool, so it is great for little ones. They also have a good sized water slide. In addition, there was a diving area of the pool, and an area for swimmers. Very large pool and did not feel crowded at all.

Great park. Has the most variety of activities for parks in the area. Multiple swing sets, a pool, a full skate park and tons and tons of grassy areas for other activities. Also has a dog park. Borders on the south with a high school and a courthouse on the north end.

The park is very clean and there are a lot of different areas you can explore. We use the dog park which has a side for small dogs, and one for larger dogs. It isnt usually very crowded, and the lots are big enough that there is plenty of room to run.
