My girlfriend and I brought our dog to the park to meet another dog today. The dog park section was very quiet and we loved that it was not full of rowdy dogs. The park itself seems to be a hidden gem in Tempe. The other dogs were nice to our dog and the owners seemed to be attentive of their dogs, which isnt the case in all dog parks. We will definitely be bringing our dog back to this park.

Great local park with good amenities. They just replaced the sand in the volleyball courts, the nets are in good condition, and the City of Tempe has worked with me on the watering schedule to make sure we get nice sand each time we play.

Its a dog park and has places to sit, but there is only one enclosed space. Some dogs become anxious and act either scared or aggressive. Sadly with a group of other loose dogs, either of these behaviors can trigger issues.
