Nice large park on the water. During the summer they have a splash pad playground for the kids. Dont try to fly a kite as it is prohibited. We found out by flying one and were approached by police offers. Great views, but not enough parking. Ive literally circled around for 30 minutes waiting for a spot. There is a paid parking garage near by. When your toting toddlers that can be a pain. Thats the main reason for only three stars.

This would more accurately be called Tempe Town Lake. This park is amazing. They offer different cultural events. Water events, boating, kayaking. It is also nice just for walking, and on windy days youll catch a pretty nice temperature drop coming off of the water which is great for the hot days. Parking is rather limited, so park near the tempe center for the arts which is further along Rio Salado Parkway.

Not overly crowded and theres a lot of Pokestops for you Pokemon Go! players. Unfortunately theres quite a bit of radio frequency interference which makes it difficult to fly your drone for photography purposes which is why its for stars.

Best park Ive been to. Lots of cool and unconventional playground equipment, plus a splash pad for kids. The only downside is that because the playground is unconventional, there are more ways for your kid to fall and get hurt.

Love it here a nice long walk right next to the lake, running and biking are all encouraged, then you get to the water, and you have Paddle boards, kyacks and Paddle boats. Everything you need to have a great day in Tempe!

Great park with a lot of stuff happening! When an event is not going on there is plenty for adults and kids to do... boat rentals, splash pad, athletic fields, and plenty of grass. Great spot to hangout!

Went there on a nice evening for a photowalk. Its a pleasant place by the lake and a nice break from the asphalt. At night the lights are very pretty on the water.
