Stevan is right. The course has plenty of housing on it, but you never feel crowded. The excellent layout notwithstanding, Id give the course 2.5 stars if I could. The fairways are a mixture of dead grass and dust (you do know you have to periodically run those sprinklers...right?). And apparently theres no money for rangers either, because the pace of play is horrendous. Ive played crowded courses before, but Ive never been on a course where Im waiting behind someone whose waiting behind someone whose waiting behind a guy teaching his wife how to rake a bunker. It took us 3.5 hours to play 9 holes. Come on.

2017 update: Played it today after avoiding for the last year. We had a 12:15 t time and went off about 1:20pm. They said frost delay and large outing were the cause. They didnt try to contact us or any of the golfers and said its their policy NOT to call. The greens are in terrible condition. The course has so much potential, needs new management/ownership. 2016....Rude. They changed our t time and didnt have the courtesy to call. Left 2 messages to speak to the manager Bryan Gibbons and he ignored both. Wont be back or recommend to others for a very long time...

Unfortunately played this course today when there are lots of good options out there and prices are slowly coming down. This time of year the courses are generally still in great shape and the weather is perfect and you can get some solid value. This course unfortunately decided to stop watering and the greens were horrific and the fairways were dirt. So bad that they actually spray-painted the course to make it look green. Never playing this again

This course has some of the most scenic tee locations I have seen. In addition, the holes are varied and more challenging than I expected. That being said, I had two relatively minor grievances. First, this is the ugliest driving range I have ever been to. It is just a big dirt pit with a few flags. Second, for a course of this price range I would have expected fewer dead areas on the greens (even during summer).

Course was in poor shape, most of the ball washers were broken, there was exposed wiring for the sprinkler system, greens were in poor shape with lots of ball marks. 35$ course at best, looks like they are just sucking the cash out and not maintaining a great layout.

Actual course was in pretty good shape but the rest of the property has been let down. The water features were sad, the ball washers were empty, many signs at the holes were broken or destroyed. not a bad course just missing the refinement you expect from a course

Agree with comments on driving range - a pit. Staff were pleasant and couteous. Course generally dry and hard packed. Great for driving distance, but not what we expected compared to other courses we have played in the area. Not worth the driving time.

One of my favorite courses in the area, the course layout & elevation changes (especially the back 9) make for a fair & balanced challenge. Great views of South Mountain and the restaurant is worth trying out after your round too.

Great course. Love the layout especially the back nine closing holes. But the range is a joke. The range balls are the worst in the area by far. Dont bother with hitting balls here.

First time playing golf at this location. Its a little challenge to me, but I had wonderful time. The view is very nice at some holes. I will definitely come back to play more.

The tennis courts next to the golf course are of amazing standard and quality. Its a wonderful environment to play.

The course is in horrible condition. Fairways are dirt that are painted green to look like grass.

Was in town from San Diego and I loved it. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Phoenix.
