Despite the 3 star rating, the greens were in excellent condition. Very smooth and I cant recall any dead/damaged spots on any of the greens. The layout was pretty challenging too. Definitely punishes you if you try to hit driver off every tee and arent accurate. The reason I say three stars is because the fairways werent what Id expect from a "country club" or $40 round of golf. Numerous fairways were "fluffy" with about 1/2"-3/4" of grass/clover mix that made crisp contact difficult on approach shots. I also rated 3 stars because the majority of tee boxes werent very level. Decent course, but I think $25-30 would be more appropriate.

I will not give this course even one star. When I first played it 5 yrs. ago it was in fantastic condition, fairways, greens, Ts and even the rough. I played it last Thur. April 7th. and it is in terrible shape. I was in front of the first green 20 yards out in the middle of the fairway and there was no grass under my ball. My daughter was putting from the fringe and again her ball was on dirt, no grass. I live only one block from the course and I play all of the Sun City courses including Palmbrook CC and Union Hills CC. The Sun City CC is by far the worst course in the area. I would not play it even if it were free.

you would think that they would let you know when you book a tee time that they didnt over seed for winter. The fairways and greens were as hard as cement, i guess water isnt an option but they did paint every thing green. And I got all of this for a low price of $40.00 The absolute worst course I ever played on. Hope i saved someone the aggravation with this post.
